We enjoyed our corner booth! Drinks were great, and staff was very friendly. The outdoor patio offers a great view of the castle.

Popped into The Castle Tavern for a couple of drinks with my husband yesterday. We’ve been several times before when visiting Inverness. They boast a great selection of real ales and drams. It’s a cosy wee pub and quaintly situated opposite, yes, you guessed it...More

Nice pub in a great spot with a view of the castle. The food is excellent, it's home made and fresh. The fish and chips is brilliant.

Set at the base of Inverness Castle (not really a castle, government building but has great views and looks like a castle), this tavern has wonderful ambiance and a nice selection of fare with great views of the Ness River. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

I saw dogs inside, but for details surely a quick email to them would confirm. For example most places allow in room but not eating areas.
