Enjoyed a lovely evening meal on a sat night! There was 8 of us in our group and all had a good meal! Staff very attentive and friendly. Good selection of main meals and starters. Too full for a pudding. One member of our party had the fish and chips portion size was massive and could be off putting to... More

Have been a few times now to the Waterside for their traditional 'High Tea' before heading over to Eden Court Theatre, which is only 5-10 minutes walk away. On both occasions the food has been excellent and brilliant value for money at only £11.95pp. The choice of mains is really good from fish and chips (highly recommended) and mac and... More

The view was awesome but the food was not great. The fish and chips had no flavor to it and the fries were the same. The cakes were good but it didn't seem as if they made them fresh. It wasn't worth the money honestly

Superb! Can't fault the place. Visited today for high tea for a friends birthday treat. Fantastic value. Lovely staff. Great views. Top notch! Highly recommend as it's hard to find somewhere that's as reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed!

We had a lovely meal here. It was very quiet at night which was a lovely change after being in such noisy restaurants all week. The setting was the best all week as we had a table right in front of the restaurant facing the river Ness. All the trees are lit up outside it at night. Sarah had the... More

We ate at the Waterside on our first evening in Inverness, found by chance. What a lovely setting with windows overlooking the River Ness. The service was friendly and efficient, although as we learned subsequently during our 2 weeks in Scotland, servers do not bring your bill until requested, allowing diners to enjoy meals without feeling rushed. My traveling companion... More

My mom and I had High Tea here. The meal plate was wonderful, but the scones provided on the after meal 3 tier tea stand where over cooked a tad and extremely dry. We added a starter option and had wonderful cauliflower, potato, and leeks cream soup. I choose the Fried Haddock and chips and was cooked to perfection. Mom... More

Always tricky eating alone but here's my opinion. Just had a great steak here. Lovely bit of fat running through giving extra taste. If you don't want the fat have the sirloin. Location was good although you can never achieve a complete restaurant feel in many hotels but this was as good as you could expect. Service was excellent and... More
