Went into North Kessock to another establishment of a morning coffee but noticed The White Cottage which looked appealing so decided to pop in. An amazing find - very clean with a welcome from a gentleman, presumably the owner. Along with my friends we had coffee and a selection of the scones & traybake all of which was very fresh.... More

Cleanest neatest friendliest B&B in Inverness. Joan and Ian are perfect hosts . Awesome views with sunrise's and sunsets on the river. Rich history of the local area and good food at the cottage or up the road at the local pub within walking distance. Best by far

We spent just a night, but that was enough to enjoy its delicious scottish breakfast and its cozy rooms. It had really nice vienes from the windows, where you where able to see the lake and the village. Its owners where really nice with us. We absolutely recommend it

Dropped in for tea & cake . New that the owners had changed , but no worries , the high standards have been maintained ! Everyone was very nice & still excellent value for money. The carrot cake is probably the best I've tasted in a long time

My husband and I were having a cycle around our local area when we decided to call here for morning coffee. It was a Thursday morning, around 10.30. We were greeted with a cheery welcome from the gentleman in the tearoom. Ordered two large coffees and my husband spotted the Strawberries & Cream Scones so he asked for one. We... More

A lovely little tea room on the Main Street of north Kessock. The views from the tea room are beautiful and the cakes and scones are pretty gorgeous too. Well worth a visit if you are down that way

My husband and I had High Tea before attending the Rod Stewart concert. I had scampi, chips and peas, my husband had fish and chips. The meal comes with tea or coffee, bread with some sort of spread on it and a cake. The cost £12.95 each. This is definitely over priced and very poor quality.

We have stopped off at this wee cafe each year on our holidays and have always found it to be friendly even when busy. The waitresses are young, but they are attentive without being fussy. The food is good, and you don't wait too long for it. The view from the window is lovely too.

Once we overcame a little awkwardness over where to leave our bikes we could not have had better service. As is sometimes the way it takes a moment for hospitality to kick in but then it is exemplary. Very helpful, friendly and some simple but really rather good food. I had fish and chips that were crisp and delicious.

We went here for lunch last week-end. Service was quick and we gave our order to the waitress. Our coffees arrived quite quickly which was no surprise as there was only 1 other couple in the cafe. Anticipating a short wait as coffee had arrived and we'd only ordered soup & sandwich we waited and waited and waited......almost half hour... More
