Great quiche and salad, followed by Victoria Sponge and coffee. Great banter as ever with Liz and May. Love the Olive Grove. Mairi

We had a lovely lunch here today - parsnip and apple soup with some bread, which only cost £2.50. The food is made and served by local volunteers and all the profits go to local charities.

Found this wee gem of a place on the way home whilst walking. Food always great scrambled eggs are brilliant and the soup is always piping hot and bowl size plentiful. Prices are so reasonable. Well worth a visit. Place is run by volunteers who are always so friendly and welcoming.

We had dinner on a Sunday night and it was busy. The table we had was in a corner by the window and gave us some privacy without being confining. The service was friendly and efficient. We just had bread and olives to start with - there was a generous serving of three different breads together with oil, balsamic and... More

We were looking for a cuppa tea and a wee scone. We found this little treat and it was exactly what we needed. It's run by volunteers and supports a local charity.

Lovely people, who fed me with a free dinner on my charity quest with no money or food. I wish more people would support a local charity like this one. Food was fresh and tasty, and the scones were amazing. I think I would move to Scotland just to have those every day of my life. Thank you, Olive Grove.

This is a friendly, clean and community-minded operation, where several of the local churches have formed a team to provide a cafe to help their funds. The baking is superb, the crockery, napery and cutlery top notch, and the location is p[efect for those wishing to get way from the town centre a little bit, to sample what the locals... More

Lovely homebaking at great value. Small and cosy so not somewhere for a first date but definitely good for old friend's catch up!

This is a cosy little cafe which is apparently run by volunteers and I believe the proceeds go to local charities. It can be found between Stephen's Brae and The Heathmount Hotel. The menu is plain and simple but truly excellent value when you fancy soup and a toastie or tea and a scone. A fine little place.

We visit this place on different days and enjoy our visits. Nice menu with plenty of choices, many home made scones and cakes.
