Not our usual sort of haunt for eating on Scottish holidays but looked very inviting & was on the main pedestrian thoroughfare. Not disappointed as food was delightful & well presented. Sat at front so enjoyed 'people watching' whilst eating. There is seating upstairs but this was not in use during our visit. Bit of a trek to the loos... More

The main courses for one person (recommand by the chef) is so small, I counted 9 chops of lamb meat. The dish itself is around 12-15 UK pounds (only the curry with meat! no bread or rice included).. Further more the dish only has a couple of pices of onion and red pepper (paprika) added. It is horribly tasteless. Nine... More

During the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, we decided to eat in by ordering a takeaway. We opted for indian. The original takeaway restaurant we were heading for was closed so we went to Cafe Mango. The meal was reasonable but no more. My wife's Tandoori mixed grill was tikka'd but did not appear to have been cooked in... More

We went for the Thai option the food was nice and arrived fresh and well cooked, the drinks were quite expensive. The thing that put me off was that we were watched throughout the meal, I know it's good to be efficient but it is off putting when you are trying to enjoy a meal and conversation.

We fancied a curry and arrived a little ahead of our booking time but we soon shown to a table. We chose vegetable pakora for starters, but when the waiter came he said bhaji, and it certainly did look like onion bhaji, but the staff assured us it was the vegetable pakora. If you say so. For mains we shared... More

Having a day off the hill I took the two course lunch special which was reasonable value. I can see how reviewers might find the place a bit odd, but it was fine for lunch.

We liked the ambiance of the restaurant and the taste of the dishes was good but if you order a main it is served without side dishes. We were unpleasantly surprised to find the two tiny bowls of rice we ordered for £ 9,- on our bill.

A great little restaurant with lovely food and good service. Definitely worth a visit for a good and not too expensive meal.

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times now when I'm in the area. Good food and reasonable prices will bring me back again.
