Only ate one evening here as food was a little average. Breakfast was ok but I think that both evening and breakfast saw too few staff members for it to run like clockwork. Would not take too much to improve the rating, so a little like one of my old school reports, 'could do better!'

Our family lunch today was ruined by a mouldy (actually furry) tomato on my burger. When returned we were given no appollogy or explanation. Left feeling sick and will NEVER return.

Visited here at beginning of week for lunch. Was greeted at bar by Dave and we were served quickly with tasty hot food. Told that new menu was starting later in the week so will definitely visit again.

Dinner: Was an easy option for dinner on first evening when we arrived as we stayed at the Premier Inn adjoined to restaurant. The restaurant is fine and standard like other Brewers Fayre establishments, staff were friendly but food was served on cold plates and the two most expensive dishes (8oz Saucy Steak Diane which was an upgrade option) were... Called in for a dinner at Loch Iall on a Saturday night. We asked for somewhere quietish and was met with a shrug and snigger by the staff at the door. Had to wait in a long queue to order food as there was only one person taking orders. Evening was really spoiled by a large group of families who... More

Currently on a road trip of Scotland staying in premier inns (all great hotels) and had great Brewers fayre experiences until this one! Disappointed with this place. One person in the bar taking food orders and making drinks and taking payments, meant queuing to order then 15 mins of queuing to pay which with a screaming toddler is not fun!... More

Service was Amazing, I work in hospitality and was very impressed with Dave who was pleasant and efficient. Food was average, lasagne didn't have much meat in it, fish was ok , kids chicken meal looked over cooked though my daughter ate it. The desserts were delicious .

Offering a good deal at the moment, 2 main courses for the price of one. My wife and I had a steak, excellent value when you consider the deal offered. The steaks were very good and cooked (medium) as we like them.

We went because of the BOGOF vouchers plus the kids like it...BUT the food has really gone downhill in the last year. I don't know why but i had half roast chicken and it was cooked differently on each half. One side overdone and the other side cremated, rubbery peas only the chips were nice. The better half had this... More
