I was more than pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I am disabled. and find some places VERY difficult, and some restaurants look at me, and say no. My husband walked in to ask if they could accommodate us, and the manager (I think!) made us...much more than welcome! He put out a ramp, and took us straight to our table. The wait staff are very pleasant, and even though they were quite busy, we didn't feel rushed or under pressure to eat and shove off! I have a very small appetite, and so I ordered off the kids menu - a cheeseburger and chips, and my husband had a steak - and both of us were very happy with our meals, and subsequent desserts. When we were ready to go, a waiter very considerately helped us out - with a smile! All in all, I would give this restaurant 6/5!More

Visited for the first time on friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. A lovely restaurant with really friendly staff. Both meals were amazing, big shout out for the basil mash! We'll definitely be back

We were not sure what to expect from Paco's after reading variable reviews. Keeping an open mind and hoping for the best, we gave it a go and decided to stick to what they are known for, steaks. It's a big restaurant and it seemed...to be well staffed. All of whom seemed friendly. Average wait times for the food and really happy to say that all was excellent and the 3 steaks were just about spot on and tasty too. I had a very pale tomato in my salad and my one suggestion is that they consider upgrading these to decent tasting vine tomatoes. Other than this, all grand. The place had a decent atmosphere and my wife and son enjoyed their deserts also. Would be happy to recommend and wish them all the best too. More than likely will be back at some point when over that way.More

We have eaten regularly here before going to theatre. However we will not be returning after this visit. Our starters arrived before our drink order and once finished we waited and waited and waited for main order. Eventually after 45 mins we caught the eye...of our server. We explained we had been waiting a long time and had a show to go to. He went to check, said we shouldn't have had to wait so long and offered us our sparkling water for free. We were told our mains would be a few minutes, they eventually came ten minutes later. No explanation for delay was provided. On leaving a manager asked if we enjoyed food. I replied saying that due to wait we had to wolf down. He responded by saying he was aware of that but had asked if we'd enjoyed our food ! I emailed the restaurant the next day but received no response.More

Thank you for a lovely meal and service! Special mention to our charismatic, friendly and funny server Ryan who is a credit to be working under pacos name. Not the first time and certainly not the last time we will enjoy your special restaurant

We visited Pacos for dinner on Sunday last week (Dec 3rd) with friends after visiting some of the festivities in town. We have been many times since moving to Perth in 2020 and have never been let down, it is a great place with an...excellent atmosphere and consistently delicious food. The service is always spot on too! The menu is excellent and everything we've tried has been great. On this visit we all had 3 courses, from bruschetta to prawn cocktail, potato skins and black pudding for starters, and mains of fajitas, enchiladas and a goats cheese salad, Desserts were sundaes all round. Everything looked and tasted great, served efficiently with a smile. There's a reason that Pacos is so popular in Perth, we'll keep recommending and returning, it's consistently great, we love that it's not a chain and always look forward to visiting.More

Going to Paco’s was always such a treat, growing up in Perth. Friends and family worked here over the years and it had a great reputation. That was then and this, dinner with a friend on Saturday night, was bloody awful. My food, prawn cocktail...(or a blackened prawn selection with a bland, nothing like Marie-rose sauce) and Argentinian chicken skewers (overcooked, flavourless and dry) was hugely disappointing and honestly, the worst meal I’ve eaten in decades. The wait staff look tired and dejected, the menu is too big to support good quality cooking and the drinks lacked flavour too. Bogging.More

This was a very enjoyable trip down memory lane for my wife and I, we used to frequent Pacos in Stirling often for various family occasions etc. before they moved to Perth which I didn’t know about. Retro Italian venue with loads and loads of...memorabilia on the walls, ceiling and corridor to the toilets. Booked in for 5.00pm before going to Perth Concert Hall across the road, perfect location. The food was very good and piping hot on very hot plates. I had three courses, I had Linguine with very spicy prawns and my wife had Chicken Fajitas. The starter and desserts were equally good. I really enjoy this style of dining and ambiance with the background music, the Dean Martins etc. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and I would go back next time I’m in Perth.More

Nice ambience and good selection of food. Waitressing staff were polite and friendly also. Putting normal cheese when vegan was requested was my biggest issue though. This has meant my partner is now ill and dealing with the consequences of the mistake. Kitchen and staff...need to do better to stop these kind of issues.More

Ok so it takes a lot for me to give a poor review but I used to love this place now I’m unsure if I will ever be back. The menu hasn’t changed in forever everything now seems to be either grilled or microwaved the...prices seem high compared to the quality of food and the service is terrible. Was there for what seemed like and eternity waiting on the next course and the bill at the end several polite nods to waiting staff no response ended up raising my voice to summon someone still nothing so put my jacket on thinking they would be scared I’m walking out still nothing rest of the family got bored and left and I’m just sitting here alone at a table waiting in the bill. So in conclusion crap food served on cold plates, no service and you’re paying for this allMore

We were here as a group for a friends birthday and I have to say the food quality was pretty poor 😞 A few of the group had the Cuban ‘style’ Sandwich, it was ok but pretty bland, the chips were a bit anemic and...half a portion plus some salad would have been better than just chips (just my opinion though). A couple of the group had the pizza 😳 They were really not good at all😬 Undercooked, again bland and one had weird chucked on, barely cooked, very green cherry tomatoes which were inedible. They looked like the cheap own brand supermarket ones with extra stuff put on them 🤦🏼‍♀️ Don’t do pizza if you can’t make it well, especially when there’s so many other places in Perth that do such amazing ones. The chicken ‘dippers’ were tiny wee cubes of battered chicken and there weren’t very many. Took us a while to work out that that they weren’t the tofu bites 🤔 Not many of us finished our food 😭 The staff were great though. Very attentive and accommodating as our party had depleted in number and they happily let us move from the 2 tables we had booked and add chairs to the other one. The food quality is such a shame as Pacos used to be good, never anything special but consistent and alway good for a group meal out. The 3 stars are for the lovely staff, I honestly wouldn’t rate the food at all 😞More

Bad food, we ordered the hamburger, steak and fajitas. Hamburger tasted nasty, it didn’t look like it was actually meat when I asked the wait staff what it was they responded with I think it’s meat let me go ask the manager. I couldn’t eat...anymore of it. The steaks were bland and had no flavor profile. At least it looked look real meat. The fajitas were the same as the steak, bland meat and was not appealing! The manager still made us pay for the meals we didn’t eat regardless if they were touched or not. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They really need to learn how to cook!More

Just thought I would leave a review on the service we had from Paco's today. So disappointed. We booked a table of 16 for our granddaughter's 18th birthday. My daughter popped in today to confirm the booking and was told they could not a accommodate...a table 16 seated together. Found this strange, so I gave them a call to discuss and spoke to the manager. Explained to the manager how I found this disappointing to say the least. He said it is very difficult for the kitchen staff to serve a table of 16 then said they couldn't seat a table of 16 due to the layout out of the restaurant. Sorry Paco find this so disappointing for such a well known restaurant that we have this approach to a booking for a table of 16. Not to worry another local restaurant was more than happy to take our booking. So disappointed with the manager.More

I came with my mates to celebrate passing our Spring exams. The food was fine enough, but this is the famous Paco's of Perth? This wreck, this pile haunted by the mistreatment of its youthful staff? The staff appear overworked, and I saw an older...manager threatening what looked like a teen staff member - appalling! I didn't see anyone allowed a break, and the morale seemed low. One waiter looked on the verge of tears. Tears! For minimum wage! Also, the dress and decorations are rather old-fashioned, for the worse, in my opinion. Very much a 'traditional' establishment in uniform for the waiters and waitresses (need I say more - they're likely homophobic). The younger manager, probably around my age, looks long-suffering and could do better than working here. #notcool #getwiththetimesMore
