Didn't sit in as they were about to close. Bought some take away cakes though and can honestly say the Victoria sponge was to die for

We stopped off here for s bit of lunch, we both had the brie, bacon and cranberry toasties, they were delicious and came with a great side salad that was super tasty. Coffee was hot and good. We stopped on the way back for coffee and cake the next day. Huge portions of cake.

Just stopped here to grab a drink before heading on to Callender but then couldn't resist having a cake and a scone as well. Very pleasant waitress and lovely food at a good price just what a Yorkshire couple are looking for !

We stopped in for soup and a roll. The lentil soup was homemade and delicious, and the roll was fresh with loads of butter. The coffee was very good - I had Americano, but there were many other flavors on offer, as well as a variety of teas. It is very much a 'cafeteria-style' and the service was fine.

We needed some warming refreshment from a cold, wet and windy walk and this coffee shop delivered. It s not a fine China and afternoon tea shop but they welcome everyone. we had a delicious lentel soup with a side of cheese and pickle toasty, sounds a little strange but wow it works. Together with a pot of pipping hot... More

Called in for a quick brunch on January second. Good service and food not overpriced. Plenty of atmosphere and extremely busy. Staff very pleasant and seating comfortable. Very bright surroundings with some interesting paintings on the walls.
