We've been here before a year or so ago, and think things have changed. Food is good and the atmosphere is nice. Staff not so great. Seem distracted and not terribly attentive. However, we would go again!

After a lovely woodland walk we stopped off for fish and chips and steaks pie. Fast and friendly service and outstanding gastro pub food. Only slight downside was the pop music in the background - something Scottish or mellower would have been better. Great place...More

Couldn’t fault a thing, came for a spa break and wanted somewhere more local good food than the hotel restaurant. The food was lovely and the waiter could not have been nicer and more attentive if he tried. Felt extremely welcome and enjoyed our time....More
