For various reasons I've been hanging out a lot at the Coach House of late, slowly working my way through the menu. Can honestly say I've never had a dish that wasn't excellent, in flavour, in presentation and in amount! Proper attention and care means that the little details of the food service (eg. the consistency of the roll you... More

We waited 75 minutes for a main course, appalling service, very poor menu, and atrocious service. This establishment needs some very serious management.

We were in Cardross looking for Kilmahew Castle when we stopped at Coach House Inn for lunch. There were 8 of us and so we had an assortment of the menu items. The haggis bonbons were a hit! Also enjoyed the burgers, fish & chips. Would definitely recommend going here. Service was also good.

My wife and I had just played golf across the road from the Coach House and often said we would go in. Well we did on Sunday. There was quite a varied menu and at a reasonable cost. We were looking at the other diners meals coming out and the portions were huge but also very attractive looking. I had... More

I was booked to stay and confirmed the booking before I departed Australia. however when I arrived the staff said the hotel was full, in fact there was no one staying there. The management I think were having an argument with the previous owners, so my deposit and my booking were not listed in the books. I should have left... More

First time we have eaten at the Coachhouse since it changed hands. Was concerned that the excellent standards might have slipped so stuck to the basics (Cullen skink, haddock & chips, beef burger). Food and service were fine and, despite having no nearby competition, it is still not expensive. I’ll be back soon to try something different.

Although I've driven past this place for more years than I'd like to remember I've never been in for food. A friend had suggested going to the popular Thursday night pub quiz but going for food there 1st so off we went. The menu was quite varied although I felt some of the main meals were a bit expensive for... More

Allie and the gang cooked up a storm for us, this is a great place to sample some nice ales, eat something lush and chill out.

On our visit it was not enjoyable no real choice of food no one seemed to be bothered previously had been ok. Not good as we taken a couple of friends with us. They were not impressed.
