We were guests at a confirmation and the meal was booked for here. A really lovely room, old world with crisp white linen and polished cutlery. Fine dining with rich local produce and great selection. Roast Duck a must have Great dessert menu also. Overall one of the best places to eat with a real homely atmosphere and exceptional service.... More

Plenty of good choices on the dinner menu. Our group of 6 really enjoyed their meal - and most of us tried different dishes. This is a place to dine if you are out for a leisurely evening - not a restaurant for a quick bite. Staff were very pleasant and friendly despite being very full and very busy due... More

Sunday lunch. Very busy, with two sittings. Wonderful dining room, a bit of class. Excellent service from friendly efficient staff. Wide choice on the menu. The roast beef was delicious, a generous portion of meat and vegetables. The only disappointment was the Yorkshire Pudding. Good value, €23 for starter, main, desert and tea/coffee.

This is a lovely and formal dining room with starched white table cloths and a lovely wait staff. I ate breakfast here each day for five days and found the breakfast foods and buffet to be excellent. Don't miss the scrambled eggs with salmon. And they made a delicious cocoa. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's conveniently located at... More

I made a dinner reservation at the O'Regan restaurant in the Old Ground Hotel some three weeks in advance for a special family occasion. I called in person three days prior to confirm numbers and request a circular table. The restaurant manager showed me the table and took note of the table number alongside the reservation. When we arrived on... More

Friends of ours recommended this restaurant. I don't recall what my husband ordered but he said it was very good, and I had the Hake which was also quite good. So no complaint with the food. The service however was poor, and the wine list is non existent. It is red or white house wines. A young lady seated us... More

visited the Old Ground O'Regan room with relatives in July. Had not been for some time. The room is beautiful and we were seated at window so enjoyed the view outside and the natural light. The food was excellent. The service was second to none. All in all a great experience.

We visited Ennis recently and ate in the O'Regan restaurant. It was absolutely fabulous. The food was really wholesome and well presented, without being pretentious. The staff were really well trained, discretely picked up on all the little things and yet they didn't hover over the table or the area. We will definitely be back.
