Had dinner here on Monday night. Had three courses, home-made soup to start (unfortunately the bread never arrived), followed by courgetti which was lovely aside from the Butternut Squash which made it a bit on the sweet side. For dessert had the chocolate pot which was served up in a garden flower pot which was cute. Great selection of gins... More

Came here for a quick lunch during march. I was honestly shocked how amazing the food was. I had the fish and chips. The fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were perfect. Highly recommendable.

We visited the Rowan Tree after hearing great reviews from friends and others, however we will not be going back. First of all, there is very limited parking on site. As we had a wheelchair in our party, we would have liked to be able to park on location and not have to cross a very busy road. We had... More

Had a lovely meal Saturday. The RT has to be the best place in Ennis for lunch. The food is very tasty, the service great and the setting and ambiance wonderful. This is topped by great value for money. Well done to all.

During our stroll around Ennis Mary and I talked to several folks. Among other things we asked about nice places to eat. And they told us about the Rowan Tree Cafe and was a neat place. Indeed it really was extravagant. We wish that we had a Rowan tree here in Los Angeles California that we can go to every... More

By the river and over the bridge lies this lovely eaterie, the finest that Ennis offers! As regulars, we love the consistent consistency of the coffees... Last Sunday we indulged in a boozy baileys brunch and the high ceiling and alcoholic units set us at ease. If you go, try to get Daire as your waitress. The Daniel Day-Lewis of... More
