Went with OH and son. Quite a small restaurant and would have passed it as only a takeaway as it had a very small frontage with a full door which looked as if it was closed. Very nice inside- small and intimate. Lovely staff. Menu was very varied. We had Special Biryani, Madras and Tiger Prawn tikka masala. Also s... More

I've been meaning to try this place for ages as I have not had an Indian since I moved to cork. Saw loads of mixed reviews online but decided to give it a go as it's in my locality. I ordered a chicken tikka masala as I thought surely it would be hard to get that wrong. What I got... More

We ordered our food to be delivered and were told 50 mins. After several phone calls it arrived an hour and a half later! The food was ok. It was not hot though. Quite expensive too. We wouldn't go back. Very disappointing. Pity.

Have dined in the Spice of India many years ago before Indian Restaurants started popping up in different areas. Decided for a change to order a delivery from Spice of India for the first time in years, and I have to say we were extremely disappointed. Firstly, the food delivered almost 40 minutes after the estimated delivery time. Not a... More

Ate here a few times and the food is really nice and the portion sizes are generous. Normally get the korma and Tika masala and really enjoy it. Would recommend.

The Resturant is good. Best part is it delivers to home. And if you take away you get additional 10% discount. Mutton items are not that good. But veg items are really delicious.

What good can I say about this restaurant and how they deal with people - absolutely nothing! Ordered food online- it was not delivered, we had prepaid online for the food. They argued with us implying that we are liars, unbelievable. After 30 minutes on the phone asking for them to refund our money, they eventually did it, or so... More

This place was recommended to me by a friend, so was eager to try it out. My starter (minced lamb) arrived less than 5 mins after ordering, which leads me to believe that it was re-heated, not freshly cooked. Ordered prawns in coconut sauce for main course. Found the prawns tough, and hard to cut with the knife. Didn't finish... More

Absolutely delicious Indian food! Definitely the best Indian Restaurant in Cork! The restaurant itself is completely deceptive from the outside, inside is surprisingly spacious and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Very impressive and I'm looking forward to returning.
