When I arrived at about dinner time on a Sunday I was seated straight away as it was very quiet. I was given a couple of minutes to decide. I found that the menu doesnt have a huge variety and nothing really caught my eye. However, when I did order, everything I ordered came out piping hot. With some nice... More

I had the best bruschetta in this restaurant, I know this is a simple dish but it was just soooo tasty. My husband and I also had a pizza and they were delicious, the dough was crispy and moist at the same time, full of toppings. Cannot fault a thing regarding the food. The staff was very friendly!

It is a simple combination really, isn't it? Going out to eat to pay for food all one wants is a nice atmosphere, good food and good service. Friday night was my third visit to this restaurant and it was a pleasure to eat such nice food, well presented by servers who did their job but didn't interfere with out... More

Description
Real Italian food at La Dolce VitaAuthor: Louise CashellCork recently welcomed a brand new Italian restaurant, La Dolce Vita, located on Proby's Quay. Although the business is only in its starting stages, La Dolce Vita, is quickly gathering a reputation for its 'real Italian food'.Some of this noteworthy food includes the pizzas, which are cooked on a brick oven, the only one of its kind in Cork. At La Dolce Vita, only the best and freshest ingredients are used and all pasta is made on site at the restaurant. The restaurant can cater for large bookings and would be an ideal venue for office Christmas parties. The romantic and friendly atmosphere only adds to the rustic, Italian vibe of La Dolce Vita who offer a variety of excellent Sicilian wines to accompany the wonderful dishes that are prepared by Sicilian chef Paolo Perrone.
