Have been going to The Woodford for years. It has always been very comfortable with good service and plenty space for a crowd. Tried the food twice in recent weeks - fish and chips and the burger. Very good quality, good portion size and good value. Very attentive waiting staff

This establishment is well worth the visit on several counts. The staff were young, attentive and very friendly. The ambience warm and welcoming. The food innovative and reasonably priced. The bathrooms clean and attended. Altogether a fabulous place to eat and/or just chill and relax. We will be back

Were recently in city centre for some food and dropped into The Woodford for a few drinks afterwards. While it was a Saturday night we managed to get a table without difficulty. Great selection of drinks available including nice craft beers. No problem in providing elderflower tonic with the gin!. Service was fast and pleasant. Band started up about 10.30pm... More

My mom and I popped into the Woodford because we liked the name, and my god, we were not let down. I ordered the most gorgeous steak accompanied by beautiful chunky chips. The waitress was nice but the barman who I paid for the food was very friendly, efficient and would make you want to come back again (if you... More

My husband and I were both keen to try some traditional Cork fare when we popped in to the Woodford last Thursday. I decided to try the bacon and cabbage and I wasn't disappointed! Wonderful flavours and quite a decent portion for a reasonable price. My husband went for the burger and said it was one of the best he'd... More
