Delicious authentic South Indian snacks and dishes, suitable for vegans or anyone who enjoys good food. Today I had samosa chaat, two samosas served in a bowl with chickpeas, puffed rice, red onion and other garnishes. Costing just over six euros, it was a substantial and highly delicious little meal, especially when accompanied by a cup of coffee and a... More

Best Samosas I've ever tasted. This intimate setting provides Corks best Vegetarian and Indian options all in one. With a constantly changing menu and friendly Staff you are sure to get amazing food in a very relaxed atmosphere. While the menu board at first might seem intimidating, the staff are always quick to explain what's what. Dosas are a must.... More

Having gone back a couple of times and tried many dishes from their ever-changing menu, I can verify that Iyer's is still every bit as wonderful as I first thought! The flavours are magical, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there really isn't anything in Cork that can compare. It remains tiny, but that's part of its charm as... More

What a gem of a place... the food is fragrant, the atmosphere lovely (even though the place is tiny) and the guys working here couldn't be friendlier. But seriously, try the food!!! Healthiest and tastiest meal I had in ages... Indian / fragrant / mainly vegetarian / vegan on request

Lovely vegetarian Indian food, complex tastes, lovely spicing. We had dosas and different chutneys, lovely. Inexpensive, but very good value! Pleasant and chatty staff. Very small, maybe 15 covers or so, and no card machine, which is a pain and really needs to be sorted out.

Really helpful staff, they were happy to explain and reccomend dishes that were dairy free (it's exclusively vegetarian but plenty vegan options) It is a small space, so can feel a bit cramped when it's busy but you can also get take away. They don't accept cards so make sure you have cash on you as the nearest atm is... More

My girlfriend and I have been coming to Cork the weekend before Christmas for several years. Since we discovered Iyer's, it has become an integral part of our Cork experience. The staff are wonderful and the food is incredibly tasty. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and it's just wonderful she can scan the board and be able to eat everything.... More

The food is beautifully put together. Varied food that is tasty and excellent value. The waitress was so knowledgeable and friendly. I still highly recommend Iyer's. Loved every bite!

Rating is more of a 3-3.5. Being an Indian from the south, it is easy to be disappointed with the cuisine from our corner of its not done right. The options are limited- dosas, thali and a few other things. The dosa batter was good and hence the dosas were good but a little salty and very very thin and... More

The food here is wonderful. It brims with great taste, and the flavours that meet you are welcome visitors to the palate. I opted for the Thali as this was my first visit her and I wanted to get a sample of a number of the dishes on offer.I was not disappointed. Helpings were generous, and the price very reasonable....
