I had the pleasure of staying at Lough Eske for a couple of nights, which included a dinner at the cedars grill. I'm used to massive big dinners at resturants such as 12oz burgers etc, so wasn't expecting much when I saw the pictures of this place. However I was pleasently surpised! We ended up with a total of five... More

We just had dinner at cedars grill on Sunday. The food and wine was absolutely delicious. The presentation of every dish was amazing. However, just be careful how you order your steak. If you're not into it being on the pink side, definitely order it well done! The staff are very attentive and service second to none! My only complaint is... More

It was as I kind of expected from reading these reviews. The service was great, people were nice, food was average to good, but completely overpriced for what you get. I have been in many top end restaurants, and this one was well off the mark. With their location they could do so much better.

We had a good meal here, and our waitress was very good until the meal was over and it took almost an hour to get us our bill. It kind of ruined our experience here.

We were here for one night and made dinner reservations which was very easy to do. Our server was incredibly attentive and our meals were all fantastic. We were able to take our time through the meal and not feel rushed. It was a very enjoyable and delicious meal.

We had dinner for four included in our hotel package since we were staying at the Lough Eske Castle. So to preface this review, my rating does not take into account price. The dining experience at Cedars simply was terrific. We had an absolutely wonderful waiter named Megan, and she remained attentive, professional, and extremely personable throughout the whole night.... More

We enjoyed a perfect diner at the Cedars, created by Sarah (waitress) and the whole team. The good recommendations and a natural friendly service caused an evening in a very nice atmosphere! Well done and keep like this...

Came across this hidden gem of a restaurant as were travelling through Donegal for the day. Food is excellent with local produce which is so fresh you can definitely tell. Staff are the loveliest you will ever meet. They took the time to talk to us and give us some local information. Our lunch dinner experience definitely made our weekend... More
