We were there on a Monday evening and the early menu was very good. It's a real steakhouse with meat the strong focus and it is cooked perfectly. The dining room is butcher themed and a little male. The service was efficient and friendly and...More

Let's get this in perspective 80 euros for 2 steaks, personally I would expect the chef to be able to deliver it how you ask for it! Ordered a MR Sirloin (it was rare - but I don't mind that) and. Medium fillet (it was...More

Steak cooked to perfection. It is a real pleasure to eat in a restaurant that really knows how to prepare a steak. We had the porterhouse and the sirloin and also the mushroom wellington for mains. Starters of scallops, pork belly and goats cheese. One...More

The steaks are very good here and arguably one only needs the steak and sides as they are so filling. Nonetheless we had starters of Caesar Salad and whipped goats cheese salad which were very good - salad might have been a little on the...More

Service was excellent and I really like how the restaurant was layed out and the location. Order well done sirlion steak and it was cooked to perfection. The knife slid right through the steak like butter, the sauce didn't take any flavour away from the...More

Fillet steak was melt in the mouth delicious, hubby's t-bone was also tender and flavourful. Nice to see such an extensive wine list and the servers so well versed in the best matches for types of steak. I did find the service a bit slow,...More

Hands down one of the best sirloin steak I've had in my life. So juicy and tender, paired with beef dripping chips and garlic butter. I also recommend sprinkling some of their steak seasoning that is on the table to enhance the flavour. My sister...More

Great steak, nice atmosphere and great service. Some pointers: - I'm not sure if they enforce this every day, but there is a 2 hour limit per table on Thu/Fri/Sat at least, and they do enforce it. - The early bird menu is amazing value...More

Hi , give them a ring, explain special occasion and enjoy. With all the excitement meeting family I am sure they will be talking very loud and won't notice the other customers. Have a ice time.😀

Dublin's original steakhouse with the experience and knowledge of over 25 years of serving the perfect steak. We change our menus each season to reflect the best that Irish produce has to offer and to ensure the highest quality of local fresh seafood. We offer an informed wine list to meet all budgets and an extensive selection of cocktails and spirits. We are also open for weekday for lunch serving health and tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. The way in which we guarantee the highest quality in beef in both texture and flavour is by choosing Irish beef and the highest grade of traditional breeds of cattle. At F.X.BUCKLEY our prime cuts are hung on the bone at 4°C and at 80% humidity for a minimum of 28 days. Storing meat for several weeks where it can loose up to 16% of it's weight involves considerable expertise so all F.X.BUCKLEY butchers are specifically trained for the process. The benefit for our patrons is to experience the concentration and saturation of natural meat flavours and superior tenderness. Hence why you will hear experts use terms such as "buttery and rich", and "earthy and nutty" to describe our dry-aged beef.
