We visit here regularly and each time we have a great experience. It is primarily a fish restaurant but they also have other options. The fish is incredibly fresh and the fish cakes should not be missed. The Caribbean blackened chicken is so good. Go with the salted potatoes as a side. Brian himself is a wonderful host and makes... This little gem of a restaurant in Clontarf is well worth visiting. It specialises in seafood but there are plenty of options for meat eaters too. The decor and moody lighting make for a lovely atmosphere. The food is fantastic, the selection superb the portions are generous and the prices are a steal for the quality. Highly recommended.

This by far is my favourite restaurant in Dublin. Beautiful fresh seafood every time. The restaurant decor is pretty, It's a very small place so booking is essential I imagine. The owner of this restaurant is fantastic and brings a real personable element to the dining experience. 110% recommend!

Enjoyed dinner here last week and found it a most enjoyable experience, splendid food served by a very effficent gentleman in a nice environment. The food, mainly fish offered an extensive choice and the mid week price on offer was great value. This is a lovely cosy restaurant that I highly recommend. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. Bryan owns the place and makes you feel welcome as soon as you step in. They've cooked for me a gorgeous vegan dish (not on the menu). REALLY NICE

Had dinner here recently with friends, the food was very good, high quality products which were well treated. However not sure I'll be returning as the restaurant itself felt like you were eating in someones front room, dated decor, single unisex bathroom.

A good broad menu at Hemmingways bound to suit all. The emphasis is on good quality, local sea-food with daily sea-food specials. We had an enjoyable evening and food to match, The Proprieter meets, greets and serves all the food and drinks and will take you through the menu options. The atmosphere is relaxed, neighbourhood type restaurant and you will... More
