The food here was delicious, both my boyfriend and I were impressed. The service was incredible, the girl who greeted us was very helpful and friendly (helping me with vegan options, double checking with the chef and didn't make it feel like an inconvenience). Overall,...More

My girlfriends and I went here last night, both the food and the service was great, such friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend this place for a good night out with the squad. Ps. The Tokyo cheesecake is AMAZING.

It is a strange sushi place. The sushi was made in Irish style they just forgot to put a sausage on top 😂😂😂.

The norimaki were not fantastic, we had the beef prawn and rucola roll and the salmon halloumi roll, they were quite large in diameter and the dressings conpletely overpowered any taste from the rice or seafood... the sashimi was good though fresh and large portions

Me and my friend always go to that place(downstairs) either in the evening or late at night. It was always relaxed atmosphere there and I haven’t have a problem to wait for my drink or food before however last night it was different . There...More

It use to be wonderful and affordable. Ever since they got more popular, they removed deals options and you'll get only around 1 hour to dine if you don't make reservations. Went to it with the hubby not long ago, was told we'd have to...More

Visited with friends who are local so I knew the food would be good. We sat downstairs and there was music playing just loud enough to make it difficult to converse. Add the noise of a room of rowdy Saturday night revellers and you have...More

We were in Dublin for a show at the Olympia theatre, a friend recommended Izakaya for dinner before hand. I’m pleased he did! Maybe a little naively we just rocked up without a booking on a busy Saturday night, the host couldn’t have been more...More

I have been here a few times but I am really starting to appreciate the scene. Of course, it's no Nobu but you are still getting fresh fish (if you choose sushi) and very tasty Japanese food like gyoza, ebi tempura and cha han. The...More

YAMAMORI IZAKAYA, located at 12-13 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, in what was originally Ireland's very first cafe. This old Bewleys building boasts original oriental style decor with a twist. Enjoy the 1940's Chinese and Japanese beer ads and movie posters with a great Asian beer or rice wine, and try our dublin famous homemade Izakaya burger. After your meal we have a lounge downstairs where you can catch a nice Izakaya Lycee cocktail, and enjoy some modern sounds from Dublin's up and coming DJ's. Downstairs is a Japanese style drinking house, serving small Japanese style pub food dishes with great Japanese whiskeys, beers and sake. Come for food or drinks, chill out and listen to some urban lounge deep and soul tunes. The Izakaya has a retro easy going atmosphere and is open 7 days a week from 17:30 and is available for private bookings.
