We had a weekday lunch here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had the Goats cheese salad which was absolutely gorgeous. Sprinkled on top was a type of sticky caramelised honey roasted sliced almonds. Yum! Super value at €8.50. Also had the turkey & bacon ciabatta which was very tasty. Coffees very good and all very reasonably priced.... More

Had one of their specials on Tuesday last week. It was beautiful. It had ham, relish and a little salad. It was absolutely stunning. Great for coffee too. If you going to the DART or simply in Blackrock, it is crucial to visit Wooden Spoon for lunch!

The Wooden Spoon is small but the coffee is good and they offer a nice range of snacks, all of which are pretty tasty. A small outside seating area is available that is reasonably warm thanks to the combination of some heaters and blankets. It's a nice place to watch passers-by and whatever's happening in Dublin Bay. Good and friendly... More

First thought, only beautiful cakes and coffee here. But along with an extensive range of sweet cakes, they had fresh sandwiches, we opted for Breakfasts, veggies by two and full. Absolutely magnificent in size and taste. Home family feel and friendly.

The things that struck me the most about this fabulous place is the friendliness of the staff, the lovely presentation of a basic salad and the great atmosphere. I only stumbled across this place on a bike ride and was very happy to have had my lunch here. I will definitely come here again. The rye sandwiches are a good... More

we went there for lunch today. It offers range of sandwiches, wraps and similar for reasonable prices. While we were eating there was a constant trail of people coming in for sandwiches to go. The atmosphere in friendly and it does a full breakfast up to 11 or so before shifting to lunch mode. They use bloomer bread and ciabbata... More

I was looking for a nice cafe with wifi to work and I found it! I spent all the morning working on my laptop while taking a nice cup of tea. They were not hassling me despite I spent more than 4 hours. Sandwiches are tasty and pots of tea are adequate. Views to the sea are awesome and the... More

This is a great cafe in Blackrock, right beside the dart station. I usually get a sandwich or salad to takeaway on my lunch hour but this time I decided to sit in. The staff are friendly and full of smiles, and always busy! I ordered the Spoon Salad and a cup of tea. The tea is served from colourful... More

I used to go to this cafe about 3 times a week as I was attending college in blackrock for a year. They do great deals for students from the college -€5 for a wrap, crisps and a can. The wraps could be hot spicy or plain chicken or as the lads preferred spicy burritos wraps. The wraps were always fresh... More

Great spot - outside if you brought your pet or inside for warmth. Inside or out great friendly service, good food and reasonably priced - weekend lunch or brunch all day. He had the full monty I had the eggs benedict. "I'll be back!"
