Here for lunch today with 3 colleagues. Super location with great potential for a busy lunch trade I think but maybe our experience explains why it was quite empty. In summary 2 wrong dishes arrived, salmon fillet for fish cakes and chicken Caesar salad minus the chicken. We were under time pressure so the chicken finally arrived when the last... More

Having felt the need to eat during the exploration of the Grand Canal area, we decided to venture into Cafe Bar H. We stood inside looking at a shoddy quality menu deciding if we wanted to eat and during this, we had staff and what I presume to be a manager staring at us and leaving us feeling pressured. We... I think the food is a bit overpriced. Its good but nothing special so it's quite expensive for what you get. The place is nice and the staff is kind and friendly

Steak and salmon was excellent. The steak was a little over cooked for the medium rare we ordered but it still tasted great. The pepper sauce didn't look great either. It looked like it had separated slightly but a quick stir sorted that out and it was very nice. Everyone loved the desserts. Definitely be coming again.

Had a quick bite before the show in Bord Gais Energy Theatre today with family. The service is excellent and our food came quick. Place is very nice and cozy as well. There is nothing to fault even the price is reasonable. We came out very happy and satisfied.

We called in for lunch on St Patrick's Day and the welcome and service were first class. Only had a light lunch but the food was excellent. We really couldn't fault this cafe, thank you.

Had dinner and a few drinks before a show at the Bord Gais. Nice portions, came out quickly enough. Also 6-nations on big screen. Not to expensive.

We went in for dinner and a few drinks before a show in the Bord Gais Theatre. Got there about 5pm. There was 4 staff behind the bar all chatting. At first I had to ask could we sit anywhere. It was then an effort to show us to a table (huffing and puffing the whole way).... Then 5 minutes... More

Lively Bar and restaurant - opposite the hotel we stayed in (The Marker). Would recommend the Pizza... homecooked and delicious. Will definately re-visit. Ideal for lunch or super. Seems busy with local office people on Friday evenings - great atmosphere.
