After dinner in a local restaurant (Masterson's) we dropped in for a nightcap. Pleasantly surprised with the guy singing and playing guitar. Our nightcap quickly turned into more than one. A really lovely night in Swords.

The food in the cock tavern is georgous. I had the 31 burger with the buttermilk chicken and it did not disappoint. The chicken was so succulent and juicy that you can't help but eat all of this giant burger. It comes with a side...More

Pros: Immaculate & charming decor. Pleasant, professional service. Good bar selection. A wide variety of burgers, a handful of traditional items. Cons: somewhat Americanised menu can be misleading as food is Irish preparation/recipe. Continue TO AVOID all MEXICAN FOOD while in Ireland--source the ingredients is...More

Description
Loads of natural character, ambiance and vitality here! But to see this premises at its most magical, a nocturnal visit is obligatory when the old heritage pub is buzzing with activity, pulsating with atmosphere and reverberating to the sounds of laughter and craic. But our daytime visitor can enjoy a saunter around the pub which will rapidly become a journey back through time as you encounter hordes of artifacts from yesteryear that reflect a simpler, more uncomplicated Ireland. We are justifiably proud of our All-American Eatery.... And why not, we were the first premises to introduce the American bar food concept to Ireland. In the unlikely event that your experience with us is less than expected we would rather that you tell us before taking to social media! If we are unaware of the issue we are unable to help.
