Amazing food priced unbelievably well. The standard of service was excellent from the moment you entered the restaurant.. We went before a show on a Tuesday evening and even then the restaurant was full and I have to admit deservedly so.The food was cooked to...More

As a huge fan of les Freres Jacques I was devastated to discover that it had been replaced by Jules. Realising that Jean-Jacques' son had taken it over made me decide to give it a chance. I arrived feeling sceptical but had one of the...More

Popped in to this place as Jules to have a cocktail and decide whether we wanted to eat, tempted by the fresh lobster. The cocktail was excellent and the staff friendly without being intrusive, so we stayed. We ordered a range of dishes - including...More

The crab bisque was strange tasting and too rich. The fennel tartlet was flavourless and cold. The worst culprit was the lamb shank which tasted like it was boiled by my grandmother, who was a terrible cook. On the upside my partners main - the...More

Came here tonight with a group of 6. Everyone was very impressed with their choices from monkfish to steak and lamb shanks. The service was excellent and friendly. Highly recommend.

Last year, we found this restaurant quite by accident. Although we did not have a reservation, the owner found us a table (near the window). We went for the set menu and enjoyed it very much. So this year we returned to Les Freres Jaques....More

Really didn't enjoy our meal here. The waiters were cold, unattentive and unfriendly and appeared to be arguing with each other throughout the night. The restaurant itself lacks atmosphere and some diners were squeezed in at the top of the stairs. Tables were constantly being...More

Description
"Quaint but charming French restaurant in the heart of Dublin. This family-run restaurant has a regular clientele who come for the warm welcome and delicious seafood. All the staff are French and the atmosphere authentically Gallic. What's cooking: Classic French fare. Signature dishes include terrine of foie gras Maison with grilled country loaf bread and a glass of Sauterne, whole black sole meuniere and lots of wonderful fresh seafood and seasonal game."
