We ate a late lunch at Roly's after an 18-hour journey to Dublin. The restaurant was full but didn't feel at all crowded. WhIle we were having our meal, a party of about 16 American visitors arrived and tables were quickly arranged for them to sit together -- all done with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency. The service was in... More

Great restaurant in Ballsbridge, a few minutes drive from Dublin City center by taxi. The Cafe serves the same great food as the restaurant. The restauraunt upstairs has a lovely feel about it. Ask for a window seat for two (limited) and you can enjoy an ala carte menu second to none served by highly trained staff. Booking recommended. Well... More

We'd been in Dublin all weekend for the rugby and to stay with old friends - we'd had a fabulous time. Our friends brought us in to Roly's as they'd been before and as it has such a good reputation but sadly I think they were too busy, they'd been overstretched from a fanatic rugby weekend, the staff weren't on... During my trip to Dublin, I ate at Roly's at least three times. Wonderful staff and meals. Excellent wine list. They have lovely decor and a nice view of the local neighborhood. This was a terrific restaurant with top service. For lunch or dinner, I would happily return to Roly's.

It's now part of our bi-annual pilgrimage to the great Irish cathedral that is the Aviva stadium for our bi-annual beating! The food is outstanding especially the Kerry lamb pie and the mashed carrot. Liam is as always a great man to have serve you with a smile and good humour. Shame about the rugby!

Ate there with some friends after the Ireland v England rugby game. As expected busy but friendly atmosphere. Food was good, especially fish courses. Extensive wine list as well.

Lovely local food and helpful, attentive staff- they were incredibly busy as it was a match day at the Aviva, so the attentiveness was much appreciated. Our only issue was that they didn't remind us the table was booked after us, and we're very keen to rush us out. This is totally fair, I think the way they did it... More
