Very full for a midweek evening, which made for a good atmosphere. Roly's has a welcome "classic" feel, all comfy booths and polished brass and old school menu. Thai fish cakes came with a refreshing salad and a chili sauce kick. Went for a Kerry...More

This is very popular with Irish people living and/or working in the area.It seems to be busy all the time but we were lucky and obtained a table. Delicious fresh food and Roly's lived up to its reputation :)

The street appearance doesn't tell you what you need to know. Step inside, and you will find a well presented restaurant with a very good menu. For the tourist passing through and stopping in without a reservation, it appeared to be a local favorite in...More

My daughter and I called in without a reservation. We were promptly taken to our table. We just had the main course and I was glad I didn't order the two courses as the portions were very generous. The waiter brought us second helpings of...More

Roly's Bistro may have been an elegant eatery at one time. No more. They have no bartender - the mixed drinks are pre-made and tasteless. I sent mine back. The shrimp appetizer contained shrimp which were crumbly and failing apart. Not appetizing at all. The...More

Some restaurants do this and staff don't get much of a say in the practice. Not many people are aware however that the service charge is discretionary and you do not have to pay it. In the past I have asked for it to be... More

Description
Roly's Bistro opened in Dublin in November 1992 and quickly became one of the city's busiest and best loved restaurants. Its reasonably-priced menu and wine list together with a casual, light-hearted atmosphere made it an instant hit with everybody from romantic couples to families, from business executives to local and visiting celebrities. Today, a team of 27 chefs serve freshly-cooked food to over three thousand people a week without compromising on quality and standards. Fresh heated bread is baked daily in the bakery.
