Crowded, noisy, live music, football match on tv screens, suporters, Guinness... good choice when in Temple Bar.

We look headed upstairs to avoid the crowd listening to music and was treated to a table by a window which was a good thing since the place is warm! The waitress was charming and helpful and we had a good meal. We liked the chicken wings and blood pudding appetizers and the salmon, fish & chips, meat pie and... More

Shamelessly overcharges tourists. Staff will charm you, but you will be fooled. Locals are embarrassed and disgusted at The Auld Dublinners callous abuse of naive tourists and never drink here. Prepare to be Ripped off. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

Great music, quick service (especially from Katy). Musicians play for 2 1/2 hours then change. Get a good seat and watch the fun. Don't go if you can't handle loud sing along music and drunk fun people. Too drunk escorted out quickly. You'll meet fun people that you'll see the next day and laugh.

The music enticed us in. Live music on a Wednesday afternoon... excellent guy on his guitar who played traditional Irish to oasis to bob Dylan. Excellent. Great atmosphere with a mixture of tourists and Irish.. not the cheapest but sure that's Temple Bar for ya 😉

Atmosphere was brilliant, music very good, staff very friendly. Food unfortunately let this very good pub down which was a shame as we really liked the pub.

I was on my stag do in here over the Easter weekend (Saturday - Monday) - each day we would wander around looking for other pubs and each day we found ourselves back in here. Think we spent a solid 9-10 hours in here on Easter Sunday, fantastic music, great atmosphere, stag friendly too which was hard to find in... More

We had drinks here recently in the vibrant and friendly atmosphere of The Auld Dubliner. A lively destination in the heart of Temple Bar area to enjoy a pint or two

We were jetlagged and needed to stay up a few more hours before we could go to bed. We stopped in here--it was only the second bar we had been to after arriving in Dublin. It was packed and so much fun. Music playing and everyone singing along. It gave me my second wind and started off my trip in... More

This is that type of place where you can have a pint of beer, while listening to live music. The beer is really good and the atmosphere will make you smile (also the beer will make you smile ).
