Classy, great food, wine and the service was fantastic. Piano playing in the back ground. I would recommend this restaurant a 100 %

I had a lovely meal here as a student before the Trinity Ball in or about 1983. I returned recently, and I do not think much had changed. Wonderful!

At this bastion of Italian cooking in Dublin. The only slight grumble, though the service was indeed fine, was the perception of a longer than usual wait for the courses to appear but no harm done as we were not in a hurry.

Nothing to see from the outside, but we had a recommendation and loved it. I think we were the only ones at lunch not previously known! We had the fixed lunch ( which had plenty of choice) and a super half bottle. Italian quality service. Loved it.

Goes on and on in superlative fashion and having eaten here for over 40 years I can attest to this. It's simple really, Canneloni, Scampi and Cassata are the mainstays not forgetting the wonderful Sole on the bone. Finally a special word for the magnificent piano player.

My friend and I visited Nico's last Tuesday for lunch. I generally have the scampi as it is excellent. My friend had the special which was pheasant which was cooked in a red wine sauce and it was beautiful. We had minestrone soup to start, and in my estimation, if an Italian restaurant does not have a good soup, then... More

We went with two friends to this restaurant last night. What a very pleasurable experience. Very helpful, attentive and pleasant staff. A VERY comprehensive menu in terms of pasta, fish dishes and meat. I had canneloni as a starter and it was simply delicious, delicate thin pasta filled with very tasty content. So off to a good start. To follow I... More
