Visited the Porterhouse a few times, apart from their own ales (no Guinness) they also had a selection of other craft beers on offer from other breweries. They have entertainment on nightly upstairs we saw an excellent blues band one evening, it does tend to get very busy.

We've been there on Saturday after St. Patrick's Day and were looking for a pub to sit and just pass time before dinner in another restaurant. Whole city was crowded especially Temple Bar area, but in this pub (very close to it) we just enjoyed to stay (resp. sit). We were watching Rugby and drank good beer (not the standard... More

We went into this bar early on, Saturday afternoon. The place was heaving! We got served and moved upstairs up the all wooden staircase. Once on the first floor you're greeted by a set of drums on a plinth over the stairs and a small stage. There was no live music playing but the location for the group is superb.... More

Definitely a place I'll stop at if I am in Dublin again. Excellent selection of beers and whiskeys (the Porterhouse Red Ale is highly recommended), and the food is also worth a go - I only had a humble chicken burger with chips, but it was very tasty and filling. Staff friendly and helpful, and the place looks great, too.... More

This cozy pub was recommended to us by our hostel, and it didn't disappoint. There was a fantastic selection of beers from all over the world. Even better, the food menu featured some really delicious lighter options, like a chickpea veggie burger and a goat cheese salad. All of our meals were perfect. The only reason I'm giving this place... More

I am a bit of a beer snob, but this brewery exceeded my expectations. I had an oyster stout that was to die for. Food is excellent as well
