Visited with my husband whilst staying at nearby Bewleys Hotel. We went for the early bird two course meal @ €18 each. I had the prawn soup for a starter and hubby had spring rolls and for mains we both had chicken stir fry with rice. The service from the moment we went in was excellent - very nice staff... More

Found this gem by chance while staying at Bewleys nearby. Could not fault it. Doesn't look much from outside. Restaurant is upstairs. Was with my wife. We both had the Kalamari for starter. Cooked to perfection. Not the slightest bit chewy. Came with a small amount of salad with the most delicious dressing, slight hint of ginger. Sweet chilli sauce... More

The roast duck Choo Chee is smothered in a very overpowering peanut sauce which I did not enjoy. Overall prices are a little too high for Thai food.

Went here while on a short trip to Dublin. Fantastic food & extremely generous portions. The restaurant itself is a little dark inside but don't let that put you off. Terrific.

Came here with a party of 9 people from work. The restaurant is on the right hand side of Paddy Cullens pub go up a flight of stairs. We had the early bird meal. I do not like spicy food and so nothing I had was spicy. I had a starter of wanton bags, which sounded risqué but they were... More

As I've said I've eaten here on many occasions and never been disappointed. I'm a huge green curry fan and theirs is one of the best i've had and they'll make it as mild or hot as you want as they will with all the dishes. This is a very good Thai restaurant and well worth a visit.

Very good menu and cooking - traditional style Thai (loads of choice and combinations of classic dishes) that is cooked well. Excellent service. Restaurant itself looks a bit dingy with ancient carpets and upholstery. Detracts from the standard of food ?

Best Thai meal I have had in a long time in authentic surroundings. Making my mouth water just thinking about it again...wonderful.

Visited here in November 2014 and only getting round to writing my review now! Called in here because we were in Ballsbridge and it was raining so didn't want to get any wetter than necessary so, finding ourselves outside the Baan Thai, decided to give it a go. What a stroke of luck that was! It was a cracking restaurant... More

Baan thai has some tasty thai food and has been around for more than 15 years. Prices are a little expensive but the food is worth it. Nice atmosphere, quiet despite frequent hubub outside
