We had our prinks before the bull and castle. The old world pub is charming - though the ladies seems to have been something that was added after females were permitted into public houses in the early century. A bit of history of the premises...More

Great authentic pub: sit at the bar to watch the football, sample the beers or go upstairs for a more relaxing experience in the lounge.

This pub was across the street from my hotel. It was cheap (Guinness was less than 5 Euros per pint) and the beer tasted as good as at any other pub in Dublin. The Lord Edward is a bit run-down (scuffed and frayed furniture) and...More

The Lord Edward's a nice pub with a local feel to it. Seemed like a good place to stop by for a quick drink before you head home.

Stopped here for a few pints and loved it. Price of a pint was good but staff and customers were fantastic. Great atmosphere and friends a plenty. Highly recommend.

Amazing pub. Very nice staff and good value. Loved the ambience. From the moment we went in to the pub the staff were obviously keen on looking after 4 senior citizens. Thanks guys..

The Lord Edward isn't fancy but the Guinness and Smithwicks taste great. The barman was very friendly, offering tips on where to eat, since this pub no longer serves food. We visited this bar after touring the city centre. It is very close to Christ...More
