Govindas is ideal for the vegetarian on a budget. Whether it's solo or with friends, the atmosphere caters for all with a wide range of choices and portion sizes. Would recommend to any vegetarian looking for food in Dublin.

The smell of this place enticed us in, and the food did not disappoint. Really tasty Indian food, all vegetarian with many vegan options.

What a wonderful restaurant for vegetarian food in Dublin! Food is superb and tasty. Service is with smile. This is typically an Indian vegetarian restaurant though they include a few middle-eastern items as well. We went to both the restaurants and food was equally good....More

Fantastic, places like this are so rare, totally revived this tired tourist - best meal I had in Dublin. Authentic, honest, nutritious vegetarian delight. Thank you.

What a place! An authentic restaurant for vegetarians. Very cheap, very delicious dishes with huge portions, indian oriented. A small shop also available, with philosophycal books to read and learn. Oh, and fantastic music and atmosphere, too. Hare Krishna!

At Govindas the vegetarian food is plentiful and tasty (a small plate left me stuffed and happy). Atmosphere is a little run down/dingy, but this is more than compensated for by friendly, welcoming staff. Don't be put off if downstairs looks busy, there are tables...More

I eat here regularly, the food (all vegetarian) is always tasty, the portions are large and satisfying, the staff are friendly and helpful. It is a 'no frills' restaurant, don't expect opulence or luxury. The seating, utensils and decor are functional rather than luxurious, but...More
