Visited this restaurant in April for a Birthday celebration. The staff were extremely hospitable and attentive. The food itself was delicious and well presented. Not a great choice for vegetarians.

I particularly enjoyed my main course selection of monkfish served with spinach accompanied by cabbage, fennel gratin and potatoes. Great flavour. I can recommend the Marmalade pudding for dessert though it was difficult to choose as there were many options which sounded yum. The marie rose sauce was a little overpowering with the tempora prawn starter but you could choose... More

I was brought to Bistro One by customers during a trip to Dublin. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, our coats taken and we were shown to our table. There was a nice choice of set or a la carte dishes. We all chose different dishes, with the ham hock croquettes and mustard being especially good. For main, the steak... More

Has been a favourite for years. First visit for a while, and not close to its best. Was surprised to secure a table, with little notice,on a Friday night. Not too busy, also unusual. Atmosphere a bit drab and food, not up to its usual high standard. My fish was over cooked. A little disappointed

Nice fresh food and good service. Some portions looked small but there was actually plenty. Very busy and which tells its own story. Parking can be tricky as it's on street and limited. Worth a try but booking recommended.
