Come here a couple times each week before going over to the business. Really love the food, plenty of homemade dishes, cakes, teas and coffees. Staff are really welcoming and couldn't be nicer. You won't be disappointed!

So many areas need attention in this cafe: Staff training / Staff behaviour / Quality of food (lasagne, quiche and salad all so bland!) / Pricing. Wouldnt be tempted to go back.

Poppies is one of my favourite cafes, the food is always good and the staff are always friendly. If I'm in Enniskerry, I always visit Poppies.

This is the first time I've been to this restaurant and I really enjoyed my moment there. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. It is the perfect place to have the sweetest breakfast ever. I definitely recommend this place.

Having seen Poppies on trip advisor we decided to give it a try to be honest we wish we hadn't not for breakfast anyway. Everything they do on the breakfast menu that needs cooking goes in the microwave so you can only have scrambled eggs...More

Dear Bev, Thank you for your comments, we are somewhat limited as to what we can or indeed cannot serve on our breakfast menu. We, like most small cafes, use a merrichef oven that is similar to microwave. However i have spoken to the manager...More
