This wonderfull pub is in the city centre and I find its atmosphere absolutely unique. If you start looking around all over the walls, you will discover so many treasures, antiques, paintings, posters and books that will capture your attention. I love it. The staff is amazing, everyone very kind and fast. Best pub in Galway!

Although it is often too busy inside to get a seat it is woth being patient and finding a snug. The pints are world class and the selection of whiskey could keep you in the snug for some time.

We stopped in to get out of the rain and found an adorable pub, part maze, part crowded family house. Seriously, it's like a long time ago a family started making and serving whisky in their house and tons of people came, sat in all the corners and had so much fun they never left. The staff were friendly and... More

Visited on my parents recommendation as they have to go here when they're in Galway. So glad I took there advice. It's a small place and indoor seating is tricky to get but we were lucky enough to get a little booth to ourselves. The staff were lovely and recommended some tasty locally brewed beers. Decided to get sandwiches, which... More

Great place to stop by. It's small inside but the fun was to sit outside. We sat for a few hours because locals visit this place and it was great to talk to them. €5.00 per beer which is a fair price. Read the sign BEFORE you enter the restroom area...funny.

Its a toss up between the crane and Neachtains for best pubs in Galway. I have been Neachtains a few times.....always good .....nice chilled place for a pint ...the other night there was great trad session. They are picky about stag parties and people being too drunk so just watch out .
