The food here is very poor. We had beer battered sole and chips, and the steak sandwich, and neither were worth the price. The sole was cooked well but too much of it, and bland chips, so it would have been nice to have peas with it (since peas usually come with this typical dish). On the other hand, the... More

Spent a great evening and the next afternoon watching the rugby with friends. Good music and banter from the locals.

Was in Galway for a few days and spent both evenings in the Spanish Arch. I have to say the entertainment both nights was superb. Dipped in to quite a few of the neighbouring pubs, but this one really hit the spot for me.

We were looking for an authentic Irish Pub dinner/experience and boy, did we get it here!! We ordered the fish and chips and the oven baked chicken with mushrooms, gravy and mash, which were faultless! The food was delicious and the staff, very hospitable. I could rave on and on about how great the food was. It's definitely worth trying... More

Good price and in the middle of Galway, but after calling to check wheelchair accessibility and assured it was, we had to practically dissemble the chair to get in the room. Kettle with minimum tea/coffee but no utensils! Bare minimum of everything. And tile floor in bath apparently waxed and so slippery even the person not in the wheelchair was... More

Terrible service, wine dumped on table without offering taste or pouring. Food was boring and tasteless. Wouldn't go back if they paid me... €51 could not have been spent a more worse way than visiting the Spanish arch for dinner, try avoid at all costs.

We only visited the pub for drinks, twice. We loved the atmosphere and the staff, the music was amazing and I don't think I have to explain how good the Guinness was. We met two staff members, Monty and Ivan. I had a great conversation with Monty whom I told I was from Croatia and then he introduced me and... More

We went to Ireland in September/October, 2016 and while in Galway, ate at this lovely restaurant in the Latin Quarter section. The atmosphere was very nice and the service very good. Food was uniformly excellent. They also had live music which was an added plus. Totally enjoyable evening out. Would wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Friendly staff the hotel restaurant seems a bit slow at the service but it is very clean and when you get the food it is good.
