Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was possibly the best I had in my trip through Ireland. And the shop had loads to look through and buy. Staff in the shops were also friendly and helpful. Beautiful little place and the perfect place to stop off on your trip up or down the mountains!

Whether you're shopping for souvenirs or looking for a meal; wanting to hear Irish music or see traditional dancing; this place is perfect tourist stop off point. We had a pleasant dinner listening to well played music and enjoyed our night at the "cottage".

Visited this spot on a few days in Killarney. Hadn't been here since I was a tiny tot so it was great to come back & appreciate the wonderful surroundings & history connected with the location . The staff were lovely and little shop offers some great gifts. Fantastic place to stop off before you venture up to the gap... More

If you're visiting the spectacular Gap of Dunloe this place is a no-brainer as a re-fuelling stop. Sure, it's touristy but, hey, you're a tourist. Quaint in a cartoon Irish way, but very family friendly. The food is fine - though certainly not gourmet. But it's well priced. And the Guinness is well kept.

Irish Coffees are a must to get when here. Was recommended this place by a friend to visit and it was well worth it. Such a lovely vibe in this place. Will stay for longer next time.

We stop for a late lunch at 330 today, after driving through the Gap of Dunloe. It was very busy. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced

The service, ambiance, and food were quite good. It was also nice to see other people socialize. Their home-brewed Guinness was incredible. I have had hundreds of types of beers in tens of countries, and none rise to the level of this one.

Kate Kearney's Cottage was one of my father's favorite places to visit during his 19 visits to Ireland My father passed away and we going to keep up the tradition and visit and have lunch at Kate Kearney's in May during our stay. It's a great place with good food and great Irish hospitality! I highly recommend this place !

This was our favorite stop by far. We thought we were stopping for a minute for an Irish coffee and hot whisky, and ended up staying longer than four hours! We chatted with the bartender, the locals weee buying us drinks, we laughed and joked it was so much fun I had a blast! Also got to know a couple... More
