The food was great and would've been enough to warrant five stars on its own, but as great as it was it was totally overshadowed by the service. I've eaten in an awful lot of restaurants and can't recall a single occasion where we were treated as kindly as we were by Patrick this evening. From his friendly manner to how much he went above and beyond to accommodate our 5 month old daughter, I really can't speak highly enough of him. An absolute gentleman.

Amazing place I stumbled upon walking in town. I had the Rockefeller Oysters as an appetizer (and comes with a shot of prosecco or Murphy’s) and sea bass as my main. The food was plated amazingly and the fish came out so hot but not overcooked at all! The veggies were absolutely perfect and cooked well. Perfection. Kevin was a great waiter and recommended their brownie dessert but I was stuffed. Would recommend coming here for some great Killarney fresh seafood.

We visited this restaurant on the first night of our stay in Killarney. It was exceptionally clean with hand gel provided at the table. We had the early bird menu which was delicious and had lots of choices, very good value for 2 courses (€21.95), 3 courses (€25.95). We ate mussels and Brie for starters, both delicious.
For our main courses we had the Hake which was served with baby potatoes & veg. To polish it off, we enjoyed a few glasses of a wonderful Italian Pinot Grigio.
My friend used in the bathroom, it had a nautical theme which followed through from the main restaurant, suitable for wheelchair use. It was exceptional clean & well presented. Hand wash & moisturizer were provided. Hand sanitizer also. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was easy to find and the exterior very modern which would enable dining if desired.
We would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting this area & hope to return in the future.

I ordered the expensive fish lunch@16.95-dearest in Killarney .I asked could i have mash n veg instead of chips.The waitress said no problem and then charged me 3.50 for a tiny bowl of veg!!!!!!!!!Total 20.45 -i wont be back.Cronins do same with unlimited everything for 10 .90!!!!!!!!!!!!

I REALLY DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START WITH THIS GUY!!!!! But anyway when he arrived he got menu he gave 10 minutes looking at it so I’m sure he could read the prices so why did he stay if he couldn’t afford it. But guys he has 25 more reviews and has criticised 21 (so lucky are the other 4.)😄 so on our menu is fish/chips served with tartare sauce & mushy peas.so anyway he didn’t want chips witch is fair enough. So he got his fresh fish tarter peas & mash potatoes what he ordered. So of course as the saying goes. MUCH WANT MORE 2 minutes later he ordered a side of veg so the waitress put it true the system for order to kitchen. So then it’s automatically on the bill. But you know ray because I know you and we strive to make all our customers happy I have no problem in giving you a full free lunch anytime then you might give me 5star like the other 4. Ps I forgot to say due to the bad weather at the moment fish is very expensive check out market price. But we’re so lucky to have good suppliers with fresh fish 🐟 🐟🐟every day anyway that’s enough owner. Seamus.

Delicious, fresh fish and seafood. Short menu (meaning that everything is fresh) with food cooked after order (rather than heated up). Food quite straightforward but nicely prepared in a manner that allows the taste of the fish to come through. Dinner menu better than lunch Early bird dinner menu which allows for either two or three courses. Bright and comfortable environment and friendly, helpful staff. Ideal for families.

Booked a table for the last night of our holiday, host was very welcoming however food was terrible. Oysters, crab claws and scallops were the smallest lve ever had in a seafood restaurant and completely lacked flavour.None of the servers approached our table to ask if everything was ok with the meal, had to ask twice for water for the table.Was really looking forward to eating here expecting the best seafood the area has to offer but was shocked at what we were given. Bill was reduced at payment when we complained by e15.
Worst experience in killarney,first Irish holiday in so long was ruined by this.

We visited Killarney for 3nights over the October Bank Holiday weekend. We booked Kitty O'Sheas on the Saturday night for 6 adults to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. The food, drink and service were fantastic. I had arranged with Eileen to have a cake made and the cake did not disappoint it was beautiful and the freshest cake we have tasted in a long time 🤗 our waitress was so attentive (didn't get her name) but she did say she was a new member of staff. Thanks to Kevin who looked after us too. Overall a most delightful dining experience and we will be back again to visit.

Absolutely fantastic service in Kitty O’Se’s tonight. Went with a group of 6 people and everyone got three courses, a mix of both seafood and red meat. As well as wine. Unreal food and even better service. We were made feel welcome and the service was extremely efficient. Great evening for everyone in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We were stuck in Killarney without a booking on a Saturday night as covid restrictions meant places were full, so found this gem across from the Fairview Hotel (where we stayed - nice place) and were able to get some drinks and food at 9pm. Service and ambiance is great. For starters, we shared half a dozen natural oysters (large size and fresh) and then both had fish & chips, with matching prosecco and beer. We were visiting the area only for the evening and noticed the takeaway/home delivery order service from the kitchen did not stop! Highly recommend for dinner!
We're travelling throughout Ireland right now and I just want to say how much I appreciate all the restaurant/hospitality staff everywhere - who work hard while wearing masks (not easy), and the constant cleaning, and business owners doing everything they can to meet new regulations. It's not easy for them so I hope everyone who visits restaurants/pubs/cafes etc gives an extra tip where possible and to keep sharing positive and patient vibes during these times.

I have to say from start to finish the staff are very professional the food is exquisite the wine I would recommend the Pinot it too handled itself very well. I had the fillet on a hot plate that you cooked yourself the fillet was amazing and cooking it yourself is no chore but a delight. The rest of our party (12 ppl) had various dishes they all looked a delight and you'd be happy with any. A table next too us had the seafood tower I was so jealous it looked amazing I will be back as will all the party the seafood tower is on my to do list. Thanks for a wonderful experience to all the staff and Eileen who made us feel very welcome.

My husband and I were here for lunch, had wanted to go here for a while as love seafood. I can't understand how the reviews are so good, yes staff are lovely but the food is far from it. Is it that there is a difference in chefs from lunch to dinner, just glad we did not pay for a dinner meal. My husband steak sandwich was ok, tiny portion of chips, about 10. But not worthy of the 18 euros price tag. My supposed sizzling prawns, I sent back, more pale rubbery prawns floating in oil, barely warm, served with one slice of white bread, did try but warm oily and tasteless. In fairness we were not charged for the prawns or drinks, but very disappointed. Shame kitchen is not as good as the serving staff. Have attached photo of prawns floating in oil.

Extremely fresh, great service, Elaine looked after us all night and Kevin taught me how to eat a crab claw. Cheers guys for the great experience. We got the the seafood tower would highly recommend, tapas-esque seafood. The Pinot Grigio is a great buy too probably will get another bottle for the hotel room. Kind regards - the happy mussel (the music could be a little louder)

Loved our meal. Great selection with plenty of fish choices on the menu. Our starters, scallops and piri piri prawns were delicious. We both had sea bass which was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented with plenty of fresh vegetables. The staff were so attentive and even gave us a delicious complimentary chocolate brownie desert just because our order was slightly delayed!
Couldn’t fault a thing! All Covid precautions were observed and yet no sense of being rushed
Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good fish restaurant in Killarney. You won’t be disappointed!

Visited this restaurant as the reviews were excellent and it was also highly recommended by our hotel. Our starters, crab claws & seared scallops were delicious. For main course I had one of the specials, monkfish wrapped in bacon and my wife had the chicken curry. Both stunning, the chicken in the curry was so tender surrounded by loads of vegetables. Cooked perfectly. The staff were so friendly and Kevin kept us amused all night. We congratulated the chef on the way out and we would not hesitate to eat there again. A really nice meal on our first night in Killarney.

Had a great time here this evening with my wife and 3 teenage granddaughters. Meal was great, the staff were great and the ambience was great. Eileen, the owner, was delightful. I had the seafood platter and the calamari was second to none, it was cooked to perfection - no battered rubber bands here, the portions were generous. My advice is to book ahead to ensure a table.
