This was a quick stop on our tour of the Ring of Kerry. The coffee was excellent, the staff very friendly. Last but not least the toilet facilities were super.

Coffee was good, but pastries were very average. They offer only two-three selections of sandwiches, but good variety of chocolates and pastries. If you are looking just for a coffee break, this place is for you. Very friendly service.

We stopped for a little break to get out of the rain and had a drink and cookies. The Lir Cafe was a cozy little cafe. They had light lunch items and pastries on their menu also but we didn't try any. They are very close, walking distance to the train station if you need a place to stop on... More

Not a lot of food choice, but what there was, was good. Nice clean cafe, lovely people, it was busy so that means good to me.

The Lir Café became part of our experience in Killarney. We were here for a month and almost every morning some one made the run to the Lir Café for coffee and hot chocolate, both of which were delicious. Often, we would sit outside and talk with the locals who were also enjoying the ambience. The staff is exceptionally friendly... More

Had a coffee while waiting for our movie across the street. Happy to find a comfortable chair and wifi whilst we waited. Coffee was grand and the service was quick. Very nice.

Our group needed a quick bite for breakfast before we boarded the bus for the Ring of Kerry tour. We were not disappointed as the coffee was hot and the service friendly. My husband and I both had the strawberry and rhubarb crumble. Oh so good and the fresh whipped cream was heavenly. Our friends each enjoyed a croissant and... More

Lir Cafe is a little gem in Killarney! It's not on the main streets but if your taking a stroll around you'll find it. The Cinema is across the road & so is the Jarvey Rank! They have a great menu to choose from with great choice of coffees, teas & milkshakes etc.. They do toasties, few desserts, muffins, croissants... More
