Very good steak and Irish Stew ( Lanb and vegetables). Great fish and chips in a really cool atmosphere of a place that date back hundreds of years. Unfortuntatly we missed the live music as we ate quite late on a Sunday evening. It is...More

We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional food and great service at this establishment! We thankfully got there at the perfect time to be seated for the fabulous live Irish music. We would definitely recommend this place and would go here again next time we visit.

We went here to hear traditional music mostly. There's an early show in the dining room where there is a stage. We had an Irish dinner here and listened to a local band on stage. The diners were polite but not terribly engaged. The real...More

We visited here twice over the June Bank Holiday weekend. Firstly on a busy Saturday night for drinks with friends and secondly for lunch on the Monday. Both occasions were different and enjoyable each time. The beer garden although well covered is still perfectly ventilated...More

More than just an eating establishment, this medieval establishment boasts a compelling history imbuing the medieval inn with a palpable sense of past inhabitants. We dined to authentic Irish music and, later on, yet another band provided music to dance to! Definitely worth a visit!!

I agree. We went on a Saturday night in March and had no problem. However, during the summer months it may be very crowded.
