The food was amazingly delicious. After dinner we went downstairs where they had a group playing live trad music. What a great time.

Check the schedule and try to go on a night when they have Damien Walsh giving bodhran lessons. Our food was really good and the lesson was so much fun! Damien is so entertaining. This is fun for people of all ages!

This Inn offers an unusual look at history! The only witch ever burned in Ireland, worked here. There is interesting information in the hallway of the Inn. Pop in and take a look as you walk down the street, or stay and enjoy a drink...More

A truly unique pub with a great vibe! Live music, good food, good service. Chat to the bar staff for a great 'ghostly' introduction to the history of Kilkenny.

We visited Kyteler's Inn for lunch and a drink after reading positive reviews and ratings. Great pub on a lovely street. Quick and friendly service. Couldn't believe how quickly our meals came out. Definitely worth heading in for a bite to eat and/or a drink...More

My family and I went here for dinner and it was mediocre. The food was blah and the staff, while pleasant enough, weren't particularly engaged. If you are looking for a good gastro-pub meal, this isn't it. If you want quick and unexciting, give it...More

An unusual combo. We enjoyed the beats of Ireland presentation and my kids learned to play the bodhran. Dissapointingly the bar staff was not nearly as friendly when we tried to stop in to hear music but we didn't let that spoil our good time.

Food was average but the music made it worth while. Price was also reasonable. We had the Bangers and mash and the haddock -salmon cakes with sweet chili. We ate early before the crowd but still enjoyed the music.

I agree. We went on a Saturday night in March and had no problem. However, during the summer months it may be very crowded.

Medieaval building in the heart of Kilkenny dating back to 1324. Once home to Dame Alice Kyteler tried for witchcraft. Kytelers Inn is NOT a restaurant but a Pub - which is our main business. Yes we also serve bar food. There are three floors with four bars - cheek them all out for the one that suits. On offer at peak season twice nightly from 6.30pm. is a programme of trad music, balladeer, irish dancers & seanachie. You can watch & eat & drink at your leisure.Weekends and Bank holidays we also have Late Bar extensions with bands & DJ for those that want to party a bit later into the night. As it was in Alice Kyteler's day - Kyteler's Inn is a place for "merrie making" - Come and visit us to find out more..Also check us out - Trip Advisor Bars/Nightlife
