This is by far my favorite cafe in Kilkenny! The workers are super friendly and the food is amazing. The cakes are the best I found in the area!!

Went for a quick lunch here. And never again. The menu is poor and the food is worse. No or little training appeared to be given to waiting staff. We were not given enough time in the side in your food choices initially, so I asked for more time. 2 minutes later he returned to our table and was very... More

We had lunch here - soup and sandwiches. Coke to drink. It is a quaint little deli-type place, so you can get a light lunch. We also tried the apple tart with cream - yum!

I have been here a few times, but mostly for a drink & meeting friends, I like their out side area, where you can soak up the atmosphere of Kieran Street, listen to the Buskers & watch the world go by, however earlier this week,I stopped by & decided to order the Baked Potato with Tuna as I had seen... Let's start form the humble potato. Nostalgia cafe needs to change its potato supplier! ASAP! The ones we were served as fries and as baked potato were DREADFUL and DRY! One of the worst fries I had. Secondly, salmon was overcooked which results in DRY again fish. The salad consisting of cabbage and carrot...DRY! I mean what the heck you... More

We were there as a family hoping for a good quality lunch according to the cafe's menu. Not only did we wait long for our meal but when it finally arrived it had all characteristics of microwave reheated food. A real disappointment. Then we took an attempt to order a dessert. The waitress kept us so long before appearing at... More

Quaint place to eat in Kilkenny. Service was great. Food was good, with large portions, and reasonable prices. Music was nostalgic and added to the atmosphere. Hard and soft drinks served with full bar service, if you desire. Good location.
