I had not been to Piccola Italia in many years and this was my first time back since then. I was really delighted with the visit. It's certainly not fancy like the newer Italian restaurants that have sprung up but it has old school charm and well the food was great. We were made feel so welcome and everybody there... More

This restaurant has been open in Limerick since the 1980s and the standard of food, and value for money, is as good as you will find. It is a family operated restaurant and, being Italian, the Pasta is excellent. However, the steaks and fish are also excellent. For us, their signature dish has to be the Sole Grenoblaise, which is... More

This is my second time in La Piccola in the past few months. I thought that we had a wonderful experience the last time but tonight even surpassed that. Two of us had Sole for main course and it was just incredible. The third person had Lasagne and was more than happy with their choice. Starters included Ravioli, Bruschetta &... More

Absolutely fabulous food on offer, great choices on menu and quality excellent. This should be a 5/5 rating but device yet again lets it down. Family run Italian is great for food quality but sevice too slow and no attention to detail. Wait time of 20mins for a bottle of Wine to be delivered and that was after asking for... More

Solid and dependable spot, good staff, very good food, and it is popular (which is a good indication). Starter plus main course for two, plus dessert and half bottle of house wine for €70. I have been to this restaurant before and will go again.

Late night meal after being on the go all day. The food was amazing. I particularly enjoyed the wine with dinner and the stuffed mushrooms were to die for. The service was outstanding. You have to ring the bell to be let in - nice touch. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's just fantastic.
