Having had a decent breakfast here before, my partner and I decided to have a Sunday evening dinner in the Unicorn and although our expectations were high, we were severely let down. The waitress who greeted us was walking around with a tea towel thrown over her shoulder that she was using to bring food out to customers. This type... More

We do appear to have let ourselves down on a few issues on this occasion, rest assured this is not the standard we strive for. I agree wholeheartedly with your observation on the cloth... More

From the minute we stepped in we were treated with ignorance from a man named Oliver possibly a manager judging by shirt colour. We had between 6 of... More

A decent selection. Staff were friendly and quick. Food was good and a reasonable price. I'd try here again.

Had lunch today at the Unicorn and the standard of food has dropped since our last few visits. Fish and chips over cooked and half the portion it used to be, tiny pot of mushy peas, my partner left hungry. I had Caesar salad which was extremely disappointing, it was dripping with sauce and instead of Parmesan there was white... More

Had carvery here . very good value of main course dessert and tea or coffee for €14.95. Tasty menu and very friendly staff. Restaurant was very busy with what seemed locals and those visiting the hospital nearby. Both had bread and butter pudding which was more like pancakes but no complaints. Limited parking
