I visited with my mother one evening as she loves fish and seafood. Not being a fan myself I ordered chicken wings and a side of chips. The wings were easily the best I've ever had. The chips were also delicious. My mother had the calamari which she was slightly nervous about because if it's not cooked right it can... More

I was traveling with my family through Ireland and this was recommended at the hotel as the BEST fish and chips. We went on a Monday and the kitchen was closing early so they rushed us up and go our order in just in time. The food was OUTSTANDING! My brother got the fish and chips and they were outstanding.... Headed to this establishment for dinner last evening and decided against the traditional Irish dishes and choose the 10 Oz sirloin. It was by far the best Sirloin Steak I've had in a very long time. It was easily as tasty and tender as any filet mignon I have had lately as well. The place is great, the servers were... More

We just visited for a drink, and didn't eat. This place looks unassuming but they've a great wine list and the food being brought to tables near me looked excellent and seemed to be going down very well. Lovely spot across from the Castle, very friendly barmen, good choice of ales.

Glad we chose this bar/restaurant, very quaint place with an excellent choice of ales and a fantastic choice of food, all well prepared and delivered by really friendly staff. We would recommend the Curragower to anyone visiting Limerick. Mussels in the cream sauce were to die for. Well done to you all..

Very quaint and different. Nice drink down stairs and then beautiful meal in newly refurbished restaurant upstairs. Lovely views of the river and castle at night.

Visited this restaurant on our last day of holiday. Its quality far surpassed every other meal we've had. My husband had fish and chips, which was THE best fish and chips we've had over the week....and we've eaten fish and chips every day. I had the chorizo and goat cheese salad. The microgreens were extremely fresh and flavorful. We also... More

We weren't that hungry so we split an order of fish and chips and each had a pint of Guinness. It was by far the best fish and chips I've had in Limerick and I've lived here for nearly 5 years. Also the location is wonderful right on the Shannon - highly recommend.

The hot wings were delightful. Probably the best I have had including the Usa. However with good wings you must have a bowl of warm water to clean up as you enjoy the giant portion.
