Called here by chance on a night out. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was very good and service was efficient.

Lovely family meal (3 generations represented) on Easter Sunday. Food was great and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. We even got some gardening tips on growing wild garlic and spinach!! Thanks so much, Colin (Wicklow)

Sol Rio Restaurant is located upstairs in the heart of Westport (across from Matt Mollys Bar) opened since 1997. Proprietors are Sinead Lambert & Portuguese husband & Chef Jose Barroso. Lunch served from 12- 3.30pm & Dinner served from 5.30pm Early bird till 7pm 2 course €22 or 3 course €26 Serving award winning great value delicious homemade food which is sourced locally & food to suit all taste buds Great value kids menu. Lots of choice for gluten free, vegetarian & vegan.
