I visited Ireland for the first time and Westport was the area I stayed in. I stumbled across this place called The Sheebeen Cronin's. We stayed in Westport for a week and the Shebeen was the highlight of our holiday. The staff are very friendly, there is a very nice atmosphere and we thought the food was the best in Westport. For the quality of the food, it was very reasonably priced.

Visited the Sheebeen with my wife on a beautiful summers evening. We were fortunate to get a table outside. After some drinks we decided to make an perfect evening and ordered food. My wife had the mussels and I had the burger. Both were fantastic. The staff were helpful and very understanding. We witnessed an amazing sunset into the bargain.... More

Great pub atmosphere, which is our preference in general over fancy dining. They have a summer and winter menu and the summer menu is still active now (early Oct). There was a good selection of specials but we ordered from the regular menu. One of us is a fan of mussels and even though had them a few days earlier... More

We arrived at 7.30 pm and were so hungry after a day of cycling The Greenway trail. The greeting was warm and welcoming and we were seated in the bar area, which is full of character. The portions were generous and we all (2 adults and 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which was well priced. I will definitely return... More

We encountered this place when first returning to civilization after several days on the Western Way trail, and I really needed to take a quick rest. An incredibly friendly woman greeted us and we sat at the bar, explaining we'd been walking for days and weren't sure if we had enough for two pints. She laughed as we pooled all... More

We had the most lovely reasonable meal. The owner is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. There's tables outside and on a sunny day the sunsets are beautiful.
