Have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and have not been disappointed. We have sampled the takeaway options over the last few weeks and the food is great quality and good value. This restaurant really deserves to be supported, particularly in these challenging times. Keep up the good work and I hope the people of Sligo give ye the support ye deserve.

Ate here on Thursday 6th August at late notice. Two adults and three small kids. Staff very accommodating in taking a last minute booking and when we rang to say we’d be delayed 15 mins they were great about it. When we arrived we were directed to a nice table and served efficiently which was great because with had the kids and it was getting close to bedtime. I ordered the Kentucky Monkfish which was unbelievably good. My better half had the pork which she also said was great. The kids had breaded chicken and chips. All the dishes were freshly made and you could really taste the quality ingredients. The kids meals were also made from scratch which was good to see. We were actually blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Only disappointment was we didn’t plan to have have 3 courses because of the need to get the young ones to bed. We’ll definitely go back to enjoy the food properly on the future. A real gem of a restaurant in Sligo, nice setting, clean and comfortable with good staff who very obviously know what they’re doing and what they’re about. Lovely place to dine.

Ambience is very clean , modern and welcoming. The staff are very polite and friendly . We were seated opposite the open kitchen it was such a pleasure watching them cook and present dishes with such love and pride. We had a Kale and potato soup with delicious soda bread . The bread had a lovely crust. We also had a grilled salad with mackerel the combination of flavors was delicious.

We visited Bridgefoot House for a family get together after Christmas. We received a hearty welcome on arrival. This was followed up with friendly attentive service for the rest of the evening. The food was delicious and varied and left us satisfied. However, I consider this restaurant pricey and charging separately for potatoes and vegetables (add €8) could be considered excessive. I welcome a new good restaurant to Sligo and wish it well.

We have been meaning to come here since this restaurant opened. Our loss we should have come sooner. The lamb melted in our mouths. We got a ringside seat where we could see right into the kitchen and appreciate the attention to detail on every dish dispatched. The old style manners of taking your coat and hsnging it up is often a fine touch that is forgotten by so many. Well done we will be back.

I have visited Bridgefoot House with my friends many times and we have never been disappointed. A breath of fresh air for finer dining in Sligo. On one visit I ordered the venison, which was superb if not a tad on the small side. As I thourghly enjoyed the dish I ordered it again on my next visit but mentioned to the server would it be possible to get a little more of the venison. The server was happy to put my request to the chef and he was happy to oblige. All round comfortable setting, good wine and consistently excellent food. We will continue to go here. Oysters with viatnimeese sauce are a must. Cheesecake devine!

We went for Sunday brunch with a family recently to Bridgefoot. We got 4 portions of French toast for our family. Really delicious food, however, we got one slice of bread each for our full portion. Our 8 year old was wondering when the rest of the food was coming. Cost of around 8 euro per person, so effectively, we paid €16 for one correct sized portion of French toast. Really surprising to get such small portions in this restaurant. Food was superb and delicious, but we frankly felt we got half sized portions. Hope Bridgefoot do something about this. We would love to go back, but until portion sizes are adequate, unfortunately it's not somewhere we will go again.

To say that we had a first class experience in this restaurant is an understatement. It is an absolute gem. Tbh myself and my wife didn't know too much about it until we booked a meal in it this weekend as they only opened before the lockdown and had to shut again. But my word, these guys know what they are doing. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, dinner was booked for 5 bells on a Saturday evening and there were a few tables full already. We were brought to a lovely table by our very friendly server and we were given our menus and asked if we wanted drinks. We opted for bottled beer. Then the free bread arrived. Was so fresh and full of flavour. Our server said that is is baked fresh every day and i belived her ! Was delicious !! Then our mains arrived.... I had gone for the pork belly with triple fried chips and my wife went for the beef with satay sauce and again, the triple fried chips. The pork belly was so full of flavour it was like a flavour explosion ! The chips were half potatoes each and we so fluffy on the inside and so so crunchy on the outside, just like triple fried chips should be. My wifes plate of food looked fantastic. I tried the beef and it was so tender, it literally fell off my fork. It was lovely. Our server came down to us to make sure all was ok. I had just one word, superb. At the end of the meal, we paid up with the server and asked how they are for bookings that night and she said thst they were fully booked that night. I can see why. To sum up, we just had the mains but that was more than enough for us. It has been a very very long time since we both had food that good. Cannot recommend, this restaurant enough. A little pricey, BUT, I don't mind paying a little extra for the standard of food and service we received. Will go back.

We're regulars here and must say its getting better and better. Both food and service is very good....staff are friendlyand very relaxed. The lunch menu in particular is great value with loads of choice....high quality food for very normal prices. This is a great addition to the food scene in Sligo. Could not recommend highly enough. One small thing the kids food is a little too expensive could be healthier with option of potatoes and or veg rather than just chips.

Missing Bridgefoot House since COVID 19 started but i'm delighted they have introduced a delicious Take Out Menu. Three of us Indulged last weekend, on Chicken Shish Kebab; Cod and chips, BBQ Short Rib, choice of salad or mash and veg, sampled the cheesecake and dark choclolate mousse. So good we couldn't resist and placed our order again today and once again we enjoyed Tempura Fish Kebab, BBQ shoulder of Pork, Cod and Chip and finished off with deserts too. Generous portions, all nicely presented. Absolutely delicious both occasions. All of us really enjoyed our meal! Will be back again.

I really enjoyed my meal on New Years Eve. The menu is quite different to other places but i was very satisfied with what i ordered. The food was simply delicious. The service was top class and staff were very attentive despite it being a busy night. I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

I've been meaning to write a review for a number of months on Bridgefoot house. We have eaten in the restaurant on three separate occasions. It is amazing. The menu is varied and offers great choice. Love the locally sourced oyster selection and fish dishes. Found the service really friendly, professional and knowledgable every time and I just like the open kitchen layout. We have also ordered takeaway during times of lockdown. The take away menu is simple with a range of kebabs and burger that I would definitely recommend for about 13 euro.Tried the lamb kofte with homemade flatbread most recently and was really tasty and definitely worth a look. The simplicity and knowledge of food shines through whether you're dining in or out and I definitely think Bridgefoot is among the top restaurants in the region and a wee gem in Sligo. Always look forward to going in for the eating experience or quick takeaway for quality, tasty options.

I’ve never been a fan of take out food but I have to say that Bridgefoot house delivers take away food that equals that of in house dining in presentation and taste. We decided to try the Easter lunch menu and we were in for a surprise. The menu was plentiful from soup to fish cakes and goats cheese with beetroot to name a few starters. Homemade brown bread was a lovely touch. The mains were so tasty..we opted for the beef and pork belly and our vegetarian was catered for on contacting the restaurant when booking. Each was as delicious as the next. The food was piping hot, well presented and so flavoursome. Portions were really good too. Desserts were amazing. We opted for the cheesecake and the chocolate option. Both delicious. And to top it all a beautifully presented box of chocolate truffles, melt in the mouth. We weren’t fit to move for the rest of the day! At 25 euro a head this was great value. I must say that Bridgefoot has totally changed our opinion of take away food. So so worth it. Well done to the fabulous team. I would recommend giving it t try. You’ll be back as we will.

Excellent restaurant which I am surprised did not have more customers on a Friday night. Exemplary service which was noted by all of our group. Our server took time to engage, answer any questions we had and gave some good recommendations as to where else we could visit in Sligo. A credit to the restaurant. We all chose the early bird menu as the dishes looked good coming out of the kitchen and I have to say at 26 euros for 3 courses it was excellent value but also lovely food, it did not feel that we were getting the cheaper options. Kitchen could be partly seen from out table and was clearly run well. A fantastic meal to kick off our weekend in Sligo. Thank you.
