Had great food and service here in a special atmosphere. The place is a warren of small rooms and nooks combining the original old pub and a newer addition that keeps the same character. The menu is varied and reasonably priced and they have lots of craft beers and spirits on offer. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly.

Stopped in for a Saturday afternoon drink. What a gem of a spot. Old style pub, all snugs and cozy booths. Nice staff. Guinness for himself and a glass of chardonnay for me ... both perfect! Would definitely revisit.

Hadn't been in Hargadons for 30 years. Brought back fond memories. Decor hasn't changed. Service first class. Prices a bit touristy but not over the top.

Fantastic atmosphere in this 150 year old Irish pub. Lovely glasses of wine served and very friendly service. Excellent choice of food and it certainly earns the merit of one of the top gastro pubs in the area.

The best seafood chowder in Sligo probably the best in Ireland. Stopped off in Sligo for lunch on the way to Donegal with the intention of having lunch . But after the seafood chowder and their brown bread there was no capacity to have anything else.. this is really a quaint old pub that does excellent food

No tv or jukebox. Amazing old photos. Worth a visit. No food Sunday so more like a proper pub. Friendly old style charm

The second oldest pub in Sligo is full of atmosphere and serves good large portioned food. Early in the week there is a hamburger menu which includes a drink. Old wood paneling and little booths make this a great place to meet and eat. Friendly and very efficient staff, good value, large portions. Very good wines and wine shop attached.... More

Visited the pub twice over a weekend in Sligo with a group of 21. The first occasion we popped in for a couple of drinks. Very friendly staff, great selection of Gins and live music. The second night we ate as a group. The food and wine was excellent and I can highly recommend the garlic prawn chilli starter and... More

The food was average, nothing special. My quiche was cold and had to send it back to be re heated. Ordered chicken goujons for my son and they were practically inedible they were so tough I couldn't even cut them. However the staff were lovely and they did give us some money back when we mentioned the chicken at the... More

Sarah, Apologies your visit to us was not up to scratch! We are not in the business of average, so it always disappoints when we don't get it right. We will be sure to make it up to you the next time. Regards, Morgan & Staff More
