First visit to this old style pub, for a light lunch. Very busy place, which is always a good indicator of good food and service. Very tasty vegetable soup served by a vey pleasant waitress.

This isn't the first time I've stop in Hargadons for lunch and it again won't be the last. The atmosphere in this wee traditional pub is one of the best I've ever experienced, it's warm, well decorated and the staff are extremely friendly. The food is always top notch and the Guinness is some of the best around. If you... More

In Sligo on the morning after the night before. Had lunch here. Staff are busy and friendly. We had the smoked salmon & quiche. Big portions & well presented. This pub is a gem with it nooks and crannies. The long hall way with all seating alcoves to the right feel like the old style trains. Well run & well... More

The numerous little snugs and hidden rooms add enormously to the ambience and atmosphere . Food is also very good here if ypu need some "soakage " for your... More

Lovely pub with really great food. Town-centre location. Only downside: always packed and hard to get a table!

Disappointed with our lunch experience in this lovely establishment. Ordered at the bar & Specifically requested pepper sauce on the side as did not want soggy sweet potato wedges, and asked for steak cooked medium rare, when meal arrived wedges drowned in sauce & steak well done. Waitress did her best to rectify situation but by this stage my appetite... More

Met some friend there within the last week and I was not really happy with the meal. Lamb hotspot was just lukewarm and no potatoes. Pretty average all round.
