In town center - very convenient. Food was excellent. I had the surf and turf which was cooked to perfection! My husband had the seafood pie - phenomenal!!!! Best sticky toffee pudding we had the entire week while in Ireland!!!!

We have just returned from a 14 day tour of Ireland with Trafalgar Tours. One nice part of the tour was the opportunity to visit several Irish towns along the way and do some shopping and visit the local pubs. At each pub we found...More

FIrst, try to make a reservation, we didn't and got in but I advise you to make one. Food was good, service was wonderful, and they didn't try to run you out when you were done dining. (Unlike some places in the States)

McLearys has only been around since 2011 when they opened on High Street. The Wine Vault was there before them and that opened in the late 80's I think. Before that, "proper" restaurants were few and far between in Waterford
