Called I here for lunch on St. Patrick's day, unfortunately we had to leave before we could order but we have to say the staff were so nice and we felt guilty that we had to leave (for reasons nothing to do with the restaurant). We'll call back some day.

After a long day sightseeing we ended up in New Ross trying to find a nice restaurant. Walked around but could find nothing open that served food. Had been to Il Primo about 2 years ago and while it was nice it didn't inspire me to go back again. But since it was all we could find open we went... More

I visited il primo last night as we were having a farewell dinner, I was so impressed with the food and service I had to review it today. The service, the food, the wine was the correct temperature, the staff were so friendly, Mustaffa was so good with everyone.. I couldn't fault it in anyway. I loved the music that... More

Dear Future Customer. We ate here last night and I have to say it is the worst dining experience I have ever had. Im a well traveled man, including Asia and I must say this horrendous food is like nothing I have ever seen before. The waitress was nice but not very observant. The meatballs had ice in the middle... More

What a horrible experience we had having a meal here. We walked in and the waitress was rude and pointed to a table and threw the menus at us. That should have sent alarm Bells ringing but we where so hungry and tired we stayed. I got the lasanga and my husband got a pizza. Lasanga was horrible. Cold on... More

A very quiet town centre and then a quiet restaurant made for a nervous start to a meal. A single chef and single waitress were not pressured by the 3 filled tables. A mix of starters were of good quality.. meatballs/garlic bread/breaded mushrooms. Pasta mains all without complaint. A chilli chicken was excellent. In the end a good meal was... More

It was like stepping back in time when we arrived at this restaurant. Mainly the 1970s and 1980s, but I kind of liked it. My friend and I had the Brie for a starter, very bad. Virtually no brie and lots of hard breadcrumbs - not good. Mains were okay, much better than the starters. I had a chicken &... More

We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Staff were friendly and we were served quickly. I had pizza and my friend had chicken with spaghetti and everything was lovely. Decor is a bit scruffy and dated but good experience
