Booked to go to this place as a treat this Saturday and booked 4 x afternoon tea's based on what their website menu and price (£16.50). On arrival we were asked if it was for Mother's Day which we replied yes and we were given a glass of rose bubbly which we presumed was complimentary. The food was.......ok but could... More

Our family group went to the Wharf House for a proper tea, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our week in England. The service was great, as were the tea and pastries. Half of our group had never spent time in England and this was their first proper tea experience. We made reservations several days in... More

We were greeted by a very pleasant young man who showed us to our table . The menu ,thankfully not large, offered food... More

We stayed at the Wharf House recently and found it to be a mixed experience. We were met in reception and shown to our room by a pleasant young lady who was also to be one of the two waitresses that night for dinner. The room was lovely. Spotless, very nice and up-to-date decor and a lovely view. We were... More

It was a pleasure to be met by someone so professional in this day and age. Thank you Josh. we booked a triple room and although the bed was a sofa bed for... More

Booked a table to visit for late lunch. The restaurant was empty but we were seated close to the toilets and walkway to hotel rooms so felt in the way as guests were checking in. Easily avoidable to have seated us elsewhere. Food was good but service was disappointing and can only be described as adequate at best, this place... More

We were going to Cheltenham races so looked for a hotel close by. We booked the Ballard suite which was a 2 bedroom suite costing £225 for bed and breakfast. On arrival the hotel we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our room. Bedrooms spacious and modern whirlpool double bath, lounge area a little dated. We went... More

Description
An AA Red Rosette restaurant serving quality freshley prepared produce. We would strongly request and advise advance Reservations. signature dishes such as Venison rolled in Walnut with a sauce of red currants with a hint of Dark Chocolate. Please note that we do not have a childrens menu but welcome young diners who will not disturb our other guests and wish to experience the normal a la carte menu. Our menus are designed as three courses, with side dishes available for those who wish, but the option to choose less courses if you wish less. We also offer both an Original and Vegeterian 7 course Tasting menu. We would recomend bookings at least 48 hours in advance
